I feel you Shaun I have zero training and there's a local boxing circuit in town. I had a few fights. Two three minute rounds were brutal luckily the first fight the guy quit after the first round. The second fight was with a very experienced person in town. He broke my rib in the first round. I didn't know until after the fight took two months to recover

Explains why you couldn't do very much, so many guys probably sign up thinking "oh I'm a guy so I can fight" and find out how incompetent (dare I say uselessness) they are at actual fighting, No you're not going to protect your woman, No you can't "hold down the fort" Like Joe Rogan said, "people find out just how vulnerable they are in their day to day life, the moment they enter a fight" And might I add to that, you'll find how little composure you have to difficult situations in general when never training for the amount of stress it requires, Lol I don't care how many firearms you have in your wall... They're more than likely just for show, Because eif you were to use them you'd have em close in your room, loaded or by bedside, And even then so few people have to deal with such situations but hey you went in and showed up and that takes guts, For everyone, Next time learn and respect the craft, and the work ethic that goes into it.

Even though KSI didn't go too hard, he also didn't give Speed any chance to work. He pressured him the whole time, controlled the distance and didn't let speed get any shots off. Speed is a raw novice and it's really poor form to do him like this. Even if it's for charity, he could've at least made it competitive.

I made my comment after two rounds. KSI let him work in the third, but he should've started like that. Sit back and take shots on the arms from round one, let Speed get confident, then bring in gentle counter punching and head movement.

Big L for KSI. We at least got some star jumps. ***Mr. Jones , if you’re in the states at some point we can get some sparring in brother get some work in/grown man stuff. Specifically if you’re around the NYC area I’ve got the boxing gym covered. Good full size ring, good setup in general. Additionally, although I’m a boxer we can also get some time in elsewhere for MMA. I like that you seem to be game in a healthy way, that being the case I don’t mind throwing myself into the deep end. There is a solid gym in the tristate area that a top UFC fighter is out of. Would have to set that up, can elaborate if we get in touch. If I find myself on your end of the pond for whatever reason I wouldn’t be opposed to linking up to get whatever makes sense going; if anything!

Honestly I have to say as someone who’s practised many styles of boxing ksis star jumpy style is actually fairly effective, sure it’s very weird to watch but for someone who’s had to do catch up over a year it’s the perfect style to use to both gage distance and keep your opponent guessing, now he’s still very amateurish while doing it such as with him waving his other hand behind him that’s unnecessary but he’s clearly settled into it more, a perfect example of how it should be used is someone like MVP who has pretty much mastered it, and also trains with Ksi so to me although I’m not a expert I have to give Ksi credit that for only having a year to get back into boxing after a long unhealthy layoff it’s very impressive and although looks silly dose tend work like a charm

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you two in some places, but hear me out, I understand it was used by Michael Venom Page but that was in the context of kicks and takedowns, where for MMA it's sometimes works to have the arms down, Ksi on the other hand (before this style) would drop his hands within rounds one and two, (And this is boxing, that's a no no) So why use this style in an exclusive boxing context? any good boxer can take advantage of this style even with kicks involved... Don't believe me? Look at early footage in The 90's Why? Well the style derives from specially shotokan style karate, not kyokushun, So basically the wimpy point sparring, And even then you'd expect point sparing dudes to have accuracy in striking and good defense because the round can end within seconds, ksi's defense is to walk right into punches and deliver haymakers that he calls overhand-rights, Which are not because if they were he'd know to bait his head to get his attention from his opponent away from his hands, Yea maybe his jab is the only real punch he knows how to throw, and some people say "bro he comes in an unOrThOdoX aNgLe" Well for anyone a jab is hard to see because that's a real punch... My point? Ksi doesn't know why he's using the style, of course most of his opponents are going to get overwhelmed by haymakers and a decent jab but even against Tommy Fury (an ok at best boxer) Ksi knew he couldn't trade hands with him, That's why he entered the clinch and Tommy felt the need to do the same because he can to fight ksi came to desperately convince himself he can fight Ksi brings a style where his hands are low THE ENTIRE TIME lol, Even though he brags about who he's sparred, Well buddy if you had real confidence in whomever you sparred ya wouldn't of given this performance,

I been boxing for about 5 maybe 6 years and doing muay thai for about a year ....the padwork and boxing training is easier muay thai padwork is definitely an energy killer lol ...so doing those drills before sparring is tiring I haven't got shin pads yet to do some muay thai sparring so my coach and I just do boxing sparring right now and yeah it gets exhausting lol somedays I piece my coach up and somedays I get pieced up lol depending how tired I am

I’ve sparred quite a bit in my 10+ years of training, everything KSI did was wrong even for charity. He gassed out Speed in the first round, that meant KSI had to carry the entire thing with a scared, winded and injured Speed. I don’t blame KSI though, he doesn’t have the experience to teach a complete beginner. But if he knew how to spar a beginner it would have been more entertaining rather than relying on the theatrics from him alone. Just my two cents and I guess it was entertaining if you ignore the cringe.

No what you say is true, but I do blame him because he's had numerous fights and somehow doesn't have sparring etiquette, Because he falls under the umbrella of so many men who think they can fight without putting in the work, he had a few months to train for his first fight when usually people wait quite a bit, and sparring doesn't even happen until a 2-6 month wait of just pad drills abd jump rope and everything else except for sparring, The thing is if he lets speed land a clean shot, he'll look bad because he has an immense ego, and that ego would've been gone had he trained right, Same reason why he uses a karate stance (which involves kicks) in an exclusive boxing context, Same reason he throws haymakers instead of straight rights and then has the audacity to call them overhand-rights, Which they're not lol If they were he'd know to bait with his head but his ego tells him he needs to come across as experienced to compensate for his lack of any...

@@rainmuaythai Me too man, trust me I was humbled physically and people would often correct me because I was a loud mouth know at all, But all that is necessary, Ksi crying after his first match and speed crying just goes to show their ego was enormous and came tumbling down like crazy, When they need to knocked it off as soon as possible otherwise they turn into babies, and the fact that speed didn't even want to shake Ksi's hands is dishonorable, If that was my kid I would've turned him around and said "you shake that young man's hand RIGHT NOW, I didn't raise you to be dishonorable" Like in all honesty I watch these guys because if the hilarity that ensues but I would never go about doing things the way they did, Like when you watch looney tunes, they're hilarious cause they're crazy but that doesn't mean you should look up to those characters lol

Bryce legitimately allowed sneko to feel comfortable, He went light, Bryce and Jake are what I wanna see, Yea Jake still has his antics wanting to go up against Canelo but by comparison to all the stuff he did at the team 10 house, Boxing made him into a better man, And it often can do that for many young men
