Highly recommend this one! Went in with minimal expectations and it really took my breath away. Great options for people new to backpacking up to the seasoned hiker.

I felt shoulder to shoulder, stride for stride on this trek. Sweden is my second home. I've hiked more KMs in Dalarna this month than all of 2021 in Los Angeles. Happy Belated Day of Birth! Hope to cross path one day.🥾🏞

I'm so glad to hear that! Dalarna is one place I'd really love to visit. The Lappland is definitely up there as well! Thanks a lot, and see you out there. 😃

How nice to see Skåneleden in the eyes of a none-swede. Love your filming, beautiful shots - and that little kitten was super cute.

Hi Chase, great video. We are preparing to move to Skåne from Texas and I'm enjoying your videos from the region. I noticed your Outdoor Research jacket-- sorry to ask a gear question, but which model is it and how did it fare on your trek? Cheers
@chasedavidsson2 жыл бұрын
Hey Scott, thanks so much! Always happy to help out, the jacket I have is the Maximus. It’s been my go to jacket for all multi-day hikes such as these and held up great with the Skåne weather. Here’s a great review about the jacket that squares up well with what I personally think of it: www.feedthehabit.com/gear-reviews/outdoor-research-maximus-jacket-review/ Hope that helps you out! - Chase

Thought the shots were so well done! Great job on all this yo I'm jealous of how peaceful and calming this trek would have been. Although I'm not sure how dead I'd be after day 5 haha

Thanks so much Dose! It'd be awesome to get out on an adventure like this with you one day. I'm sure you'd bring some killer vibes to the trek. 🤙🏼

Ö in front of a name does not mean "island" but is short for Östra "east"
@chasedavidsson3 жыл бұрын
You're right! It's a very helpful and shorter version of Östra. I didn't know that at the time of making this, but this is a good tip for anyone who doesn't already know!

@@chasedavidsson Also, I bet Swedish people thinks it's crazy that the English for "jag" is just one letter ;-)
Hey Max! I record in various settings (no lower than 1080p) and then always output to match 1080p.

@@chasedavidsson Could you be so kind and give some advice on what resolutions to film with? I want to have both slow motion and standard speed shots in a video but not sure what tesolution to choose for what. I know 1080p is better for slow motion but besides that not much.
@chasedavidsson3 жыл бұрын
@@maksymandrzejdrzyzgiewicz5096 It would all depend on the frames per second at which you shoot. I edit in 29fps so for example, if you shoot at 60fps, you'll be able to slow down without any chop to 50%.
