Skagit casting, & touch and go with the Airflo Skagit F.I.S.T.

It nice to see a little humor in a casting video. Lots of guys edit all of the perfect casts into a video and that gets tiring after a while. I like to see somebody who fishes like I do. Caught up in the trees on the far bank, stuck on the bottom. The only thing Im good at that you seem to be lacking skill in is getting the perfect cast going, watching it launch and then having a huge rats nest of shooting line go up into your guides.

@@LineSpeedJediTimRawlins I see myself in you, 15 years ago i spent a couple, or five years speytraining and analysing the different casts, and my conclusions where very simmilar in expression to yours, i can tell your knowledge is more or less self taught, just like my self. to me your vids are very honest.

love your videos! what line would you recommend for caster thats more used to scandi casting and norwegian rivers? The Skagit max/iflight or the Airflo Fist?

Christian check out steve godshall he will make you a slightly longer skagit from floating to sinking density, i fish alot in norway amd russia and use his 26 and 28 550 grain skagits with tips upto 120 grains, the guideline 4 d tips are fantastic with them. Steve makes very good lines the tapers are spot on.

Is the Rio skagit max better?

Completely different lines. The max is a full floater, the FIST is triple density.

Those two are both multi density lines. Personally, I prefer the FIST.
