Skandi Vega in dry dock! A massive AHTS ship!

This is a video from when Skandi Vega was in dry dock some years ago.
Skandi Vega is a large and powerful vessel designed for deepwater anchor handling during demanding environmental conditions.
The Bollard pull is 350 ton and the winches can pull 500 ton.
The Ship is 110 meters long and the Breadth is 24 meters and can room 88 persons

The vessel is mostly operating in The North Sea!

00:55 - there's a man standing working at what looks like a series of 'vents' that would appear to be below the water-line ?. Can anyone advise exactly what they are, please ?

Keel colors for the engines.

Probably box coolers. Basically heat exchangers that are inside that cools the loop of fresh water coolant for the engines, thruster motors, hpus etc.

its the Sea Chest..The term sea chest is used for a rectangular or cylindrical recess in the hull of a ship. Ship's reservoir. The sea chest provides an intake reservoir from which piping systems draw raw water. Most sea chests are protected by removable gratings, and contain baffle plates to dampen the effects of vessel speed or sea state. The intake size of sea chests varies from less than 10 cm² to several square metres.

I've worked 26 years in the shipyard, the tuff stuff is cutting out the old metal that is in side a tank or bottom with rust and paint or worse grease covering it and it's always a bid job hurry up hurry up!! and there is always another watin to take the others place.been on several hundreds over 26 years .
