I'm 49 and I have been saying this for years. Kobe is better than LBJ because he actually took the road less travelled and went on the HEROES JOURNEY. When Shaq left he didn't call T Mac or Vince to come play with him he wanted to beat the best players not join them, Old school players like Magic, Jordan, Bird etc...wanted to beat you not join you. I know LBJ STANS are gonna come in with the copy and paste stats about LBJ vs Kobe, but almost every player who played with or against Kobe gives him the head nod over LBJ, but strangely the media doesn't. That Court case in Colorado is why the media bashes Kobe I'll say it. It damaged his brand, but his greatness could not be denied, because if that would have happened to any other player they would have became journey men hopping from team to team and eventually forgotten about. Kobe is my favorite player, but MJ is THE GOAT Kobe is runner up and it doesn't matter to me after that who you put on the list.
