I'll sure say, big country fucking rocked!!!!! definitely not the same without stuart, look at it this way, stuart gave his all, poured the soul of scotland into his guitar, singing all of it, and he definitely went out with a shout! -come up screaming! I liken it to mel gibson playin william wallace-another SCOTTISH thing there :) when right before his head gets chopped off, he yells F R E E D O M )))))))))))))))))))))))

The greatest live band in the world! Totally in touch with their audience. I would trade all of the live concerts I've seen in my lifetime to have seen them live in the summer of 1984 when I graduated and these guys ruled the new wave airwaves! Rest in peace Stuart ... your music lives on and it is your legacy.

I saw Big County at Newcastle City Hall about 85 I think. After the fist song the PA blew. They went off briefly came back on and the same thing happened again. They went off for longer this time maybe 20 mins. When they came back on they played for 2 hours. At the end of the set Stuart said we’re really sorry about the start of the show. We want you to pick up a ticket on your way out and we’ll come back in two weeks time and play a free gig for you all. They then played at least two encores. The gig was amazing full stop but to come back and play for us again on what I believe was one of few nights off they had on the tour was something incredibly special.

+curleyteeth no one is 'worthwhile' we're all scum. Jesus is God. Only he was is ever perfect holy righteous sinless pure holy just............Only he can change people's hearts and lives supernaturally by his Spirit if he chooses to do so, this life is horrid, wicked, evil, your prideful arrogant attitude is proof of this, God is not a respecter of persons his Word, the bible says, no one is more 'worthwhile' than any one else........money changes NOTHING, material pursuits, pleasures, cars, etc etc CHANGE NOTHING! what man needs is a CHANGED heart! only God through Jesus can do this 'spiritual heart operation' called 'being born again of the Spirit of God into Christ Jesus', God only does this to the minority of people, since the beginning-adam and eve, majority of humanity has, is, and will D I E and go to hell and burn in flames and CONSCIOUS torments because of their rejection of Jesus as God.............this is just the way it is, God is God, he does whatever he pleases and no body no one no thing can change or stop him. This life is painful, hurtful, cruel, evil, disease ridden, illnesses, diseases etc all because of: S I N sin that eve first brought into this world when she listened to satan the great deceiver and disobeyed God, then adam joined in, they brought in sin, which cursed the entire universe and brought spiritual and physical death upon us all. Only Jesus, who is God become a man, came from heaven, born of a virgin, lived a pure holy sinless life, because he is God, he pleased God the Father, his sacrifice for our sins on the cross and his shedding of his blood on the cross washed away ALL sins-past present future ONCE FOR ALL -FOR EVER! never to be remembered by God again. By God's grace you can receive his free gift of salvation/eternal life in Jesus by confessing your sins to God, asking Jesus to wash you and cleanse you in his blood, and forgive you of all your sins, and receive him into your own heart as your own personal Saviour and Lord. Jesus is the only way, truth, and life.

you got that fuckin right, and could give U2 and others major competition, plastic is right, everything good died in the 80s on back, theres stuff in the 90s and further on, but it gets slim pickens, overall 2000s SUCK ASS, I look at these moronic wannabe 'musicians' today and its a pathetic joke, they should be run off stage for even tryin to call themselves a band, its so fuckin bad, anything and everything goes, nothing sacred or unique, the 'fans' suck, the bands suck - all of it sucks I'm 47, glad I got to live the 80s, grow up with them, when mtv was awesome-only 5 video jockeys :) martha quinn jj jackson alan hunter nina blackwood mark curry and all they did 24/7 was play music videos-constantly round the clock, with very very few commercials, breaks etc - til mtv became total shit and vh1 which originally was shit became like mtv used to be, then they went to shit, now its all shit, it was so awesome back in the day, used to do nothing but watch mtv videos all day and night, takin in discovering all the new bands, shit, EVERYBODY was awesome in the 80s, now it just the opposite-everybody sucks

I'll always be thankful for the day my late brother dropped a record into my lap and said "play that." It was 1979 and the record was "Into the Valley" The day I discovered Stuart Adamson. Thanks bruv. Stuart was the best. What he created is genius. Can only wonder what we've all missed out on since he went.

Alway's remembered R.I.P Stuart .Sometimes the downfalls of having success and wealth can really damage your health ,Stuart no one will ever really know what was going on in your mind but there will never be another kind you will be an eternal flame in our hearts an everlasting burning candle sadly and unfortunately for for the Music World it was the inner Demons that were too much to handle .Thank You for everything Mate .
