@@SkaredCast aren’t full re-rolls to hit and wound better than just re-rolls to hit? I know using a CP and a pain token to get it is a bit much, but it can make that Tantalus unit so much better for the turn when you need it. It may not see constant use, but it isn’t completely useless

pretty fun tbh. Not a good time for Drukhari especially, but overall it's been great. :-) Starting to play Creations of Bile and that seems promising. A bit of a time-sink to do the random enhancement mechanic though admittedly.

I like how you encourage people to build and play lists to develop their playstyle/interests. I think too many people talk down to off meta lists.

21:51 Just get a double sided token. One side drukhari, one side harlequin. Any time you kill something, just flip the token to the appropriate side.

Skari this detachment sounds SO FUN for you! :D I know it probably looks very underwhelming... but it does look incredibly hard to pull off, like something that has a lot of depth and will be really fun to mess around with! You lucky duck! So keen to see what you come up with.

The new detatchment is so up my alley, i Play and collect drukhari and my Girlfriend collects harlequins, I usually use lots of harlequins for their 4+ saves, also their jetbikes are wonderful, Skyweavers with haywires are vehicle killers.

@@SkaredCast I just did a game with them today, really interesting feel. Flipping back and forth between the units for buffs. But it PLAYS GREAT! Being able to use the advance shoot and charge stratagem on anything, even disembarked infantry is really cool. I feel like Drukhari just got 9 new units

Can someone explain if the army rule pain tokens still apply? Can i apply pain tokens or receive pain tokens from Quinn kills? Can I double-up the wager-losing re-roll and pain token to both sects of the army or just the D'Kari

Ah I think i found the answer 😢. Pain tokens only apply to D'Kari faction and the Quins faction keyword is Aledari... So pain tokens cant be earned by them nor applied to them. Darn It!

@@mcwilliamsda any enemy unit that dies creates a pain token, so units killed by quins DO create tokens. However harlequin units do not have the power from pain special rule so they can’t use pain tokens to become empowered.

My initial impression here is that it's not overall the best detachment mechanically speaking, but that it will still be good against things like the new Necrons detachment for example. I noticed that the Drukhari index got updated, but haven't figured what they updated. Did anyone catch what was updated?

I play like once’s every few months. Most at tournaments. New baby and toddler so not many games that’s why list crunch is so valuable for me!

I feel like Drukhari is about to take a big nerf when the 10th edition codex comes out. This new detachment may be “flavorful”, but it’s almost like GW is just pushing people to buy these models that no one ever uses and to help make sure that happens, I wouldn’t be surprised if Beastmaster, Court of Archon and/or Grotesque will be vaulted since those models are currently unavailable and why would GW spend money creating more?
