Tunédex Side Notes #76: Inteleon disappeared this morning. We decided to wait for his return. My team took the opportunity to do some intense training. When it was lunch time, Inteleon returned from his solo mission. He informed us about a Pokémon in trouble. Apparently, a small mole pokemon was captured by a large metal bird. We decided to help it. Inteleon lead us to a mountain and mentioned that the mole was at the summit. We climbed up the mountain path and fought off some hostile Pokemon. Absol sensed danger ahead and Lucario confirmed location of the mole and the steel bird. We reached the top and the steel bird attacked us. Ceruledge fought it while Gardevoir used her Psychic abilities to levitate the creature and somehow, its hole to us. How does that make sense? Does it have a body? Is the hole just a portal? Focus on the entry for the bird, not the mole. It told Gardevoir that it was captured by Skarmory for disturbing its sleep. By this time, Skarmory was defeated and chased away from the summit. We returned to the foot of the mountain to find three moles wait for us. They thanked us for saving their son. As they left, I was left wondering. Their son? but they were all male? Why did they speak as one so perfectly? Why can I only see the head? Gardevoir tried to explain to me, but I will save that for another entry. I am going to bed early.

Skarmory is such an underrated bird imo. I wish we could have seen this thing battle one of Ash's Pokemon in the Advanced Generation, like Swellow or Sceptile. Imagine Sceptile's Blades against Skarmory's Bladed Wings. That would've been awesome! Heck. That should've been the opening battle for the 9th movie... To give Sceptile at least something to do, like Charizard did during his time. I loved Skarmory's debut when it helped Cyndaquil master heating up faster. If only it got better episodes like that in the future after that...
