Earthrune looks cool, but his old concept was better... way better... I expected him to be more like Enchanted Galio but with more vines, made of nature, and with blue vfx. Not just a boring rock with no visually appealing vfx...

I don't know if it's just me but...The old skins somehow had more character than he new ones. Cosmic, Sand scourge, and especially earthrune all were unique and now they moreso just feel like a recolor of the base skin.

Being honest, I'm disappointed with the visual and thematical direction they took with him. Even though new skins have better models overall, they lost that charm they used to have, especially the earthrune one. I guess this rework is not for me. Maybe at least gameplay will be good, because ngl that Thomas the Train E looks dope.

But they keep replacing the skins that stand out with some watered down, greyed out, boring style. Look at Earth rune and Sand Scourge, they are not even close to the original style or color scheme.

The reason I loved Sand Scourge was because it made Skarner look like a more realistic scorpion. Now it just turns him into a orange rock with armor. And Earthrune? What the hell did they do to Earthrune? That new skin doesn't look like Earth or Runes. He's just a mech.

I came here because of Battlecast one and oh my god it's godlike. I love the fact they kept the dance and just made it better. Now THIS is a tank i would love to play as. Or to kidnap someone. Both works perfectly fine

I don't hate the new Earthrune skin, but I don't really think it keeps the spirit of the original at all. The old one is kind of like this overgrown druidic kinda thing, and the new one just kinda looks Demacian.

Earthrune looks cool Sandscourge is nice, although i prefered the original red and black color scheme for the shell Battlecast is straight up a Metal Gear vihacle, and i love it! Guardian of the sands is cool, i just don't get why they removed the recall. It was the defining reason why i bought the skin in the first place Cosmic Sting looks kinda shit now. He's not as shiny or astral anymore, he just looks like a scorpion made of blueberry jam. I think if they gave him better particles on his spells and put a bit more stars on his model, he would look amazing.

Yeah basically if u wanna play this thing, use battle cast or don’t use skin at all😂 The two cheap ones barely makes him different let alone better, and they completely fked up celestial since the concept doesn’t work with the kit anymore. A scorpion god the size of a galaxy shouldn’t be throwing rocks and drilling through terrains💀The ult sting doesn’t really work either. Battle cast on the other hand is a god tier skin now, the model is simply amazing and works way too well with the current kit

Not happy with how cosmic ended up. I love this skin for the high saturation and the gold shine while w is active, it really makes it look like it's glowing. and the segmented parts are just the same as every other skin instead of the round shapes. It just looks really bland now...

i liked the crystal style of the original skarner wish we saw a 3 tailed version of it. But I guess they wanted too have him fit in better in sharima. Since a purple crystal would stand out way too much compared too his other desert dweller counter parts.

I was genuinely hyped for Skarner but I'm disappointed. The skin the got the best rework is sand scourge. Guardian of the sands used to have a cool stinger that was unique, earthrune lacks the natural feel and now feels like a hextech skin, celestial skarner lacks the galaxy feel and glow. Battlecast though. Battlecast is the legendary skin. Battlecast Prime skarner is this badass machine scorpion who uses chainsaws to grind into you and turn you into meat paste. But this Skarner? None of that. He pokes you twice with his chainsaws, then all of his attacks are just the standard tail attack, but now he shoots a harpoon. Oh and don't forget his face turns into a drill when he uses E. Where's the decimation? The chainsaws grinding into your foes as you attack them? And why does every skin have the same damn rock, but just a little different?? Riot took so damn long create skarner, and they delivered a champion who's Base Design holds all of his skins hostage. Gameplay aside, I rate this rework a 4 or a 5/10

Design wise looks lazy to me. Old skins had something unique to each of them, new ones seem to replace everything for metal/robotic stuff. Cosmic is okay and they completely scraped the original concept, not sure if there was no feedback sharing it, or if they just ignored it. Lazy design, and the abilities, let's see, I hope it's not too frustrating to play against.

@RemusNeo I main, Kha'Zix Jhin, Bel'veth and Briar, but I've always liked skarner ever since I started playing the game back in the start of season 10 but I couldn't really get into how he played but I love his new design for his VGU he looks so much more enjoyable (to me) now I can't wait. (I am also biased towards scorpions because they are one of my favorite animals.)

ok i compared the skins now to the old ones and the preview we got before 5 months (kzbin.info/www/bejne/i5yxq2mAq72cj6M). From a General Perspective i think all skins look awesome nicely said. When i look at the old ones and now the new its gotten a lot better. But when you look at the preview from before 5 months and compare it to those shown here its the same skins but the colours are fitting a lot better. For Example: Sand Scourge was very dark red to orange and now hes dull light orange which makes him very much unpleasing. another one would be Earthrune Skarner he looks very yellow here and in the preview from 5 months ago it was more of a gold (like in the splashart, because splash and skin here are a lot different when it comes to colour) Last one would be cosmic Sting Skarner hes lacking the bright touch they had with him in the preview. Ok thats it from me pls give me some resonance on my opinion im very interested about youre guys thoughts. Peace Out
