Thanks for making this video Viktor....I would have love to have known the different it makes between a stiff frame and one that’s more flexible. You mentioned that the carbon fibre frames were more flexible. Is that a good thing or would you lose some push? I’d imagine the stiffer the better?

Do you think a carbon frame is more comfortable - does it absorb road vibrations better than an aluminium frame? Such a thing is very common in bikes - carbon frames tend to absorb road vibrations better than aluminium ones.

In my experience there is no noticable difference when it comes to absorbing vibrations. Some aluminum frames can be very soft and comfortable. However, I still consider the EO Frames to be the best all around frames on the market. topskate.dk/en/collections/frames

Hey, Viktor! Great video. I’ve been skating for a while and want to get into speed/marathon skating. As a beginner speed skater, should I opt for a 4x110 or 3x125 set up? (I do have experience on a 3x110 set up currently.) Thanks in advance!

Hi Viktor. I have a Seba Trix and I recently bought a 125mm Frame for 125mm wheels which is at 260mm in length. Can I put 110mm wheels on the frames?

I think the height of 3 wheel frame is more is to accommodate 125mm wheels where as 4 wheel frame up to 110mm

Hi Victor! Actually I do have questions. Comparison 4x110 vs 3x110. Clearly, with lower set is more comfortable in many aspects, however 125 gives maybe higher speed on flat and straight. So now, if preference goes towards stability, comfort, perhaps 4x110 is a good choice. Having said that, here comes 3x110. It is as low as 4x110, of course but lighter. Is this discomfort of having 3 points instead of 4 this big problem that You can hardly find skaters, even tiny girls of low weight riding 3 x 110? Perhaps there are other aspects, like roll or maybe stability of 4x110 over 3x110 that should be considered? I can imagine that having 3x110 it comes easier on climbing, accelerating, etc.

Hi Piotr! Thanks for your question and for sharing your thoughts on your choice of setup :) I would pick 4x110mm before 3x110mm any day. That extra contact point will make a huge difference in terms of steering and comfort. At a young age 3 wheels might be smarter than 4, but that's where the extra weight really plays a role, putting the kid to it's limits when it comes to skating correctly and properly lifting the skates throughout the recovery movement.

Hi Victor, Nice to see again. What should be the perfect combination for Beginner 4x90mm or 3x90 or 3x 100 frame?
@thorupviktor
@thorupviktor 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Santanu :) If you're brand new to inline skating the choice of setup really depends on your age and size. If you're an adult, I would advice you to get a 4x100mm setup to begin with. If this regards a youth skater, I would pick 4x90mm or even 3x90mm if it a very light skater. For the choice of frame, I generally advice people the Luigino Striker Mark 110mm frame with 100mm wheels. It's a low cost frame, where you can opt for 110mm wheels any time you're ready. topskate.dk/collections/frames/products/luigino-striker-mark-ii-4x110

@@thorupviktor I purchased a used frame from someone. I cleaned the bearings, dried them and checked the spinning. The bearings are spinning well before mounting them to the frame. If I mount the wheels to the frame and loosen the screws only then wheels spin well, if I tighten the screws, the wheels/bearings are not spinning at all. the frame is narrow than wheels side size that when I insert the wheels to mount, I have to push in abit hard. Is this because of the frame or frame issue?

@@bishor33 sorry if I intervene but I had the same problem and as a beginner I was very confused. It turns out that it is the spacers the problem. It means your spacers are not thick enough. I actually solved by buying adjustable spacers now this problem is gone!!!

hi there, i’m planning to change my frame ( currently i’m using lugino pilot 7050 with takino boot) and i would love to buy EO carbon frame but many in my circle have told me that cabon frame tend to break in extreme condition and since it’s expensive i would like ur suggestions on that and also I’ve also given thought abt cadamotus dualbox ®️5 and takino GTR 450 robo frame . which one would u recommend..
@thorupviktor
@thorupviktor 3 жыл бұрын
Hi :) I have had the exact same EO 4x110mm frame since early 2010, so I approve of the quality! If you do experience any issues, I know their policies reassure that you’ll have a replacement frame. The dual box is the stiffest frame I have ever experienced, but if you’re focused on short distances and big of size and power, it could work for you :) If you end up getting the EO frame, using “EOSALE” in the store, will give you 10% off ;) topskate.dk/en/collections/frames

Hi Victor! Do you find any important differences between 3x125 13.0", 12.8" and 12.6"? I'm using PS XXX in longest size, becouse what I've heard is you size them to your height and weight - and that didn't left me any choice as I'm tall and heavy. But I really find them quite hard to steer - harder then 4x110 XXX I also use. I wonder if there will be noticeable difference between 3x125 13.0" and 12.8" and 12.6" and if going for shorter frame would cost maximum speed? If DP would be better then maybe not?

Why is the 3X125 frame rockering? is the middle wheel for 110?
@zilvinasvanagickas9899
@zilvinasvanagickas9899 Жыл бұрын
Yep, it's Hi-Lo frame with 125-110-125 mm wheels formula. I am not sure is EO H3 Hi-Lo frame a good decision, cause there is a lot of space between the most of racing boots and middle wheel. Yeah, if you going to mount the long frame on the fitness boot, it could work well, but not with racing boots. So I would prefer 125-125-125.
@Whatsth3ruckus
@Whatsth3ruckus Жыл бұрын
@@zilvinasvanagickas9899 No the H3 is actually lower than a 4x110 frame. It can be designed lower because the 110mm wheel is in the middle now and not towards the front so the boot can be lower.
