It’s dope seeing Felipe Nunez skate but I don’t understand why they put him in a regular contest instead an adaptive one. If u think about it, no matter how well felipe skates he’ll never have a REAL CHANCE to make it on the podium. I say that cuz there is now way for the judges to fairly score him on the same point system they use for all the other pros competing. Considering none of those judges have ever skated with 2 missing legs it’s not possible for them to know the difficulty level of the tricks felipe does. I kinda feel like him being in this contest was a way of making him(and other skaters like him)feel included & never actually expected him to be competition for the other guys skating

That’s pretty much what it is. He can never win in regular but he’s so good that in the adaptive category he would crush everyone. So honestly it makes more sense to put him with the “regular” guys even if he knows he can’t actually win. It’s great for ratings and PR too.

The Competition Break was the coolest part! Watching the worlds best just casually skate i could watch for hours. As a viewer it kinda feels weird watching them only work on one thing, kinda like their coming in cold, sometimes not landing anything for the viewer. it would be really cool to see them all skating on a park and have them take turns hitting the current event, giving it their own little area on the map. then if they miss it the just skate on and can keep practicing in between and we get to see it all. that would be dope but i know im ahead of my time on this one so sad face

I feel the production value for X-Games has dropped significantly over the years. The 8-frames-per-second during the first 10 min was absolutely unacceptable. I feel SLS has far overshadowed XGames at this point. Maybe update the format a little, too? Make a point system based on two tricks instead of just one ‘best’ trick; the number of bails from trying the best/hardest stuff over and over is sometimes tough to keep watching.

X Games really has become a second rate contest to SLS , the hype isn't there, and you can see it from the skaters the amount of determination isn't as commited. not to mention the quality of x games compared to sls.. this looks cheap SLS takes on a full stadium x games puts scaffolding in a skatepark lol
