Luckily this is from about a week an a half ago so the toe is fine now, but it was sore for a few days.

It was a case of less is more. On the first one I give it more power and that's when I fell.

Cheers dude. I just need to start getting my boardslides a little faster so then I can start to get longer slides. I'm hoping then this will help me with the boardslide to fakie, as I struggle with one right now. I feel like if I can get longer slides it will give me more time to get ready for the fakie landing.

With the ice slides it was just a case of holding back and not giving it to much of a push. If you put too much effort in that is when you would die.

Dude‼️ the commitment to skate through the ripped shoe, with a cut toe, in the cold. You are out of control. However, you did show good control on the ice. I am glad you are able to skate still this winter. Stay Rad

Sometimes you just have to push through and skate even if the condition are against you. With the ice it was just about putting less effort into the slides. If you tried like you would on standard ground then the board would just go west.

Thanks, I landed quite a few on this day. I didn't show them all as it would have been half the length of the video if I did, but its started to feel like I'm getting them better now.

Yeah sometimes you just have to get out for session. Can't always wait for the perfect day and sometime you just cant get to the indoor park.

Yeah you have to be ultra careful and put a quarter of the effort into everything. The first try I did it I was gone.

Maybe get some shoegoo for the toe, to save the shoes for a bit longer ;)
