I'm 32 a total newbie, and just recently bought zetrablades in Miami, I hope to use them back home in the Philippines. I never see anyone using rollerblades there; only skateboards are popular.

@@yasmaskater it's ok. I was there this past May. I wanted to see what everyone was skating on and ask questions about their skates. I saw lots of people on FRs when I was there! Looks like that's the popular skate down there. I have wide feet so I know they'd be good for me but they are sold out everywhere right now. I have RB Pro X that are too wide coming from twisters which mangled my feet, lol. One day I'll find the right pair that can allow me to skate on for hours like id like to.

If you already know the basics of skating, I recommend the 110mm three-wheel model, for example "Rollerblade Twister Edge 110 3WD", they are a little more expensive than the other models, but those are very comfortable, they protect you, you will have more speed and you can do freestyle. @@yasmaskater thanks and will watch it but i have knee and lower back pain that most likely will prevent me from really enjoying the bigger wheeled skates. I'm sticking to 4x80mm for right now and if my tendonitis magically goes away, I'll def give 110 a try!👍

Don't worry, what I told you about 110mm wheels is an option, with 4x80mm wheels you can still do the same, the important thing is that you feel comfortable skating, no matter what type of model or size of wheels. I hope you feel better and can continue to enjoy skating.

Hi are recreational roller blades (with back break) ideal for this type of skating ? The even is next week here in Miami and it'll be my first time attending. I want to make sure it's safe before i attend. (I'm not a beginner) but never done street skating especially with that many miles in one day . I would appreciate your input . Thank you!

Hello. You'll be fine with those, lots of people use Quad and do fine. The brake will help you a lot for the Key Biscayne bridge if you go on Saturday morning. Try to use protection, highly recommended. See you Saturday 🤗

@@yasmaskater thank you so much for your response and input !! Should I bring a bag with snacks ?? And I bought a triple 8 helmet on Amazon today! Hoping it arrives before the event . I haven't used my padding in 11 years but definitely will be wearing them for next week 👏🏻💯
