you can tell matty felt this performance, and his voice was strained but also he sounds scruffy and raw most of the time...
@unoz045 жыл бұрын
uhm... it's strained and it's the style, which isn't good for his voice.
@buckleygeneration5 жыл бұрын
I Don't Know Elisa It is absolutely strained. The song is outside of his comfortable vocal range. That’s why it very obviously strains his voice. Which doesn’t make it bad - far from it. The fact that he throws himself at something he kind of sort of can’t sing properly is what makes it so good.
@impastpatientlywaiting49465 жыл бұрын
There are actually ways to sing that sound ‘gruff’ and ‘strained’ that don’t hurt the voice :)
@buckleygeneration5 жыл бұрын
I'm past patiently waiting This is true. I hope he learns to do them, if he’s gonna be able to keep singing this song and not destroy his voice.

Know he doesn’t, his voice is poor but I like that, I don’t want my rock stars having pitch perfect voices
@galenstone90975 жыл бұрын
His voice isn't going to last long if he doesn't get some vocal training. No one's vocal cords can endure what he is doing for long. Those notes were pure throat instead of being from the diaphragm.
@maryemin68075 жыл бұрын
galen stone i think it might just be this performance, he sings this song in a certain way to get the same effect as the studio version :)
@galenstone90975 жыл бұрын
@@maryemin6807 Idk but I would be willing to bet he was really hoarse after this performance. It sounds to me as though he is singing at the edge of his upper range and forcing the notes. There are techniques to do this that aren't as detrimental to your vocal cords as what he is doing. Hopefully he learns them

Their acoustic sets of somebody else (and other songs performed more lowkey) with only Adam and Matty is Adam's real time to shine as a multi instrumentalist and producer! However I wouldn't really call any band member underrated.. It is for example common fact that George is the main producer in the band!😋

What a hell of a stage presence. I don't really find male performers doing this type of thing, esp in this day and age. Everything about this is a total throwback to people like Bjork or Sinead O'Connor in the 90s and that's a MASSIVE compliment coming from me. Just living for this. The A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships era is such a turning point in the grand scheme of things, innit? Amazement.

I don't listen to this kind of music very often but I must say this is one of the most passionate performances I've seen recently (in regards to live Pop music.) This kind of heart-felt energy is what attracted me to listening and playing music in the first place. I've had my eye on this band for a little while and I'm happy at how they're progressing.
