Is it water resistant? I tried them and it’s very very comfortable! Just worried about damages from water.

They are not water resistant, the kicks won't suffer from water ingress, but your feet will :) You can also spot the perforated areas in the front and in the back for ventilation, so clearly not for heavy rainy days.

Are they better than monarch air?

I did not had the chance to get my hands on a pair of Monarchs to Review them, but my current opinion is that Nike's Monarchs are better training-wise. Monarchs are build as training sneakers, and are more stable and capable overall. Also a lot more tech went into them. Skechers Stand on Airs are street sneakers made comfortable, and also can fit a various array of outfits, which I can't say the same for the Monarchs. So in the end, it really depends on what's your intended purpose for them. Price-wise, they sit at around same level. Hope this helps ✌️

@@igiveyousnkrs Thank you. I got monarchs 3 years ago because I always had problems with the ground contact area getting too damaged after 1-2 years to the point when my shoes were not usable. Monarchs are massive and very durable, the way I like it, but also heavy. I got the Sketchers now even though I was thinking to buy a new pair of Monarchs. Mostly I was using the Monarchs in bad weather because they are almost water proof, but I got another pair of shoes that are water resistant, so no reason to get the Monarchs now.

Yeah, sound like you're all set up now. Unless you miss having a brand new pair of Monarchs 😃 Buying sneakers nowadays has so much to do with emotion and less with practicality 😅 Also, finding a pair of comfortable, good looking, well priced and also waterproof sneakers is not that easy. Well done!
