*A Day with Mayor Adrian Findley: Engaging with the Community of Skegness*
I had the incredible opportunity to spend a day with Adrian Findley, the Mayor of Skegness, immersing myself in the vibrant community that makes this coastal town so special. From the moment we met, Adrian’s passion for Skegness and its residents was evident.
Throughout the day, we visited various local landmarks and businesses where I witnessed firsthand the dedication and enthusiasm of both Adrian and the local residents. It was heartwarming to see how the Mayor actively engages with the community, listening to their concerns and celebrating their achievements.
We met people at and chatted with local business owners about their journeys, and participated in community events that showcased the rich culture and spirit of Skegness. Adrian’s approachable nature made it easy for residents to share their thoughts, fostering an open dialogue that strengthens the bond between the local government and the public.
This experience not only highlighted the importance of community engagement but also reinforced my appreciation for the role of local leadership in shaping a thriving environment. I left with a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for Skegness, as well as a renewed sense of pride in being part of such a welcoming and dynamic community.
