Best bonus video EVER! I'm so sad I made my pilgrimage to London BEFORE you made this video. Now I have to go back! Love the creepy music. I will definitely check that cemetery out next time!

My goth self got so excited about the cemetery. Its so beautiful and old. If I ever go to the UK I'll have to go on a cemetery crawl (im sure there's a zombie joke in there somewhere)

Thank you Eli for that great guide to London. I have only ever been to Loop but I think I will venture further afield next time. In fact I think it is time I visited my son in London. Love what you are doing for the knitting community 👏

Loved the tour especially the cemetery - love visiting old cemeteries - the history! And because I am a genealogist I would have a ball in there! London is soooo far from NZ.....one day I will get to visit all these wonderful places, thanks for the tour :)

Thank you so much for this wonderful video! I got my Masters degree from LSE and miss London so much! Sadly, I wasn‘t a knitter when I lived in London, but I‘ve visited a couple of times since and been to a few yarn and fabric stores... Marlies from Austria :)

really enjoyed your tour. how it started with the sheep . . . where the yarn comes from . . . the old cemetery. so peaceful and interesting. was kind of wondering what some of the dates were . . . . 1700's?

Eli, thanks so much for the virtual yarn crawl! I'm going to be in London this August and can budget in one or two visits to a yarn shop. I've already been to Loop and this time want to buy some authentic British wool. Last time I was at Loop I bought some amazing St Magnus D.K. by Orkney Angora. So my question is, if I can only visit one shop, which should it be? I'm thinking Wild & Woolly, or perhaps Knit with Attitude, especially since I wear various versions of Maya's I Got Hair Baby! all the time. Any suggestions?

That totally depends on what you are going for. Loop if you want the special imports and high-end stuff and an awesome knitting library, Wild and Woolly if you want the locally dyed and small-mill produced stuff, the woolly wool and ...basically the stuff I am into(!) and KWA if you want a mix of that plus art stuff from 'of cabbages and kings' which they share location with.

Thanks! I had a feeling it was going to be Wild and Woolly! I've been checking out their website and that Frangipani Guernsey 5 Ply is calling my name. Have you ever tried it?
