1:48 What is quite interesting with UrUtt and SkekEkt is that UrUtt’s roll as weaver is perhaps the least interesting role of the UrRu. Essential, yes, but interesting, no. Besides the obvious, the main thing that made these two so opposite is SkekEkt wanted attention constantly while UrUtt (like many other UrRu) didn’t care much for attention.

Well thoes skeksis we haven't see in the series who might appear in season 2 might be SkekSa, SkekNa, SkekUng, SkekShod and SkekLi( but SkekLi has not been seen in the movie or the series in season 1). But i fully agree with you that SkekEkt is the most unredeemable of skeksis while SkekTek might have been a skeksis with a fair few redeeming quallities, thoes are just throw out the window due to the other skeksis calling him "weak" and that they just treat him so bad, for if it wasen't for him they would not have had essence

When you think about characters that enjoy making clothes, being dramatic and desires to be most beautiful, skekekt and urutt, rarity, leni loud, emma ross, satin and chenille and pearl would make great friends, I would imagine they have fun together like making clothes, talk about how beautiful they are and eatings with manners ( except for pearl because she doesn't eat ) although they would be a little disturbed when skekekt mention that she killed 100 birds in orders to make dresses and robes.

I prefer Brian MHUEL’s voice because you couldn’t tell the character’s gender and that was the point with his character. Genderless but representing a cross between the two. SkekEkt was most effeminate. Alice’s vocals were too obvious that it was a female. I only address SkekEkt as he, his, and him because that’s also how UrUtt his counterpart is still pronounced.

They are not gender binary though...so they cannot really be trans. I don´t think male or female supposed to apply to them. They don´t reproduce at all since they are not a real biological race, but manifestations of dark emotions and desires, so genders or sex makes should make no sense to them. Skekekt represents excessive Vanity, and I guess back in the 80s this was the caricature of Vanity they went with (think about so many queercoded villains). To be honest it could even be considered offensive nowadays, if it wasn´t such beloved character already.
