Eh, not really. I think the comic does a pretty good job at keeping this power from being TOO op. As they explain around the 3:30 mark, newly born / resurrected skeletons are incredibly weak and need to stay close to their "parent" for the first few months of their lives. and as they bring up near the start, a skeleton even keeping their memories from their past life isn't guaranteed. So while the ability is certainly powerful, it's not something that could easily be exploited or abused.

Ok, so... Toriel and Asgore adopted Chara when she was a human child, and now Papyrus resurrected Chara by using a part of himself, but in human terms he isn't her biological father, right... So does that make him her half adoptive-father? Or I mean he's also adopted her right, but in monster terms she is his bio-magical daughter... 😖I am so confused... 🤦‍♀️my brain is broken! tecnically in moster terms now chara has a different soul so it's like if this chara is another chara and the new chara has the soul made of papyrus' magic so in moster terms she's his daughter.in human terms she's like a zombie and now she isn't a human but a monster so the human chara has two biological human parents and the monster chara has one biological parent but tecnically she and papy are the same thing because they are formed by the same magic so they're in monster terms dad and daughter,in human terms a zombie and a monster and in scientific terms the same thing

Wait then doesn't that make Papyrus her mama and not her papa..... So magically he is her mama but her biology is still made up from her biological parents, and Toriel and Asgore are just her former adoptive parents? 🤔 Does that sound right to anyone, or am I off somehow? 😖 Still confused but mostly just unsure

Interesting... but it sort of falls flat. Not saying the comic or dubbing is bad, no it’s pretty good, but the execution of it is not really good. In the moment when Toriel and Chara meet again, it should’ve been more emotional, but it plays out like a normal event. I will say, though, this is pretty good.
