i believe there is an inaccuracy here..yes PTH may initially increase serum phosphate due to the osteoclast activity but PTH actual decreases serum phosphate via decreasing reabsorption in the PCT therefore increasing the excretion of it

PTH decreases the levels of phosphate ions in blood because it reduces the reabsorption of phosphate from proximal convoluted tubule of the nephrons in kidneys. Thus more phosphate is excreted through urine.

PTH will lead to a decrease in phosphate by excretion through tubules... this is how one can differentiate causes of hypercalcaemia...
