never commented on this which is my bad because this is one of my favourite vids from you of all time (not least because it introduced me to this song which i'm still stuck on). love everything about this, the intro with scamp's sisters, the text, the hazy purples, the mix of sweet, romantic clips and more risque ones (the georgette bit with roscoe and desoto gets me EVERY time), that balance just hits the song's conflict of tenderness/lust soo well. and you always focus on specific facial expressions perfectly with your cuts - love how you key in on the discomfort of the characters when the lyrics call for it. and you managed to pull it off with these movies without it feeling forced at all, it's just so smooth. for some reason this video gives me a lot of nostalgic feelings, like it takes me back to when i first saw these films as a kid and swooning over the romances, so now every time i hear this song i get that warm sweet feeling. so good.
