Chance absolutely needs to return. Adam is a carbon copy black/death vocalist. Nothing impressive or original. Chance has an immediately distinguishing voice. You KNOW it's him!! And as for stage presence, Chance moved around and went nuts, knew how to talk to a crowd. Adam just paces with his stupid looking leather gloves on trying to imitate Chance's voice but fails hard. "This one goes out to snow on the van!!." "Beyonddd the permafrooosssttt!!"

Adam sounds NOTHING like Chance. Very generic, and very boring live. I know it's beating a dead horse, because they made their choice, and seem to be sticking to it, but they've lost a lot of die hard fans. I won't say I'm not still a fan, but the EP with Adam only had one real quality track, while all 5 with Chance are front to back masterpieces, and they just kept getting better. Serpents Unleashed was on a lot of top album lists of 2013. Then they axe their founding vocalist.

No, it wasn't his choice. He was let go for his heavy drinking while on tour (which he immediately sought help for and is still clean and sober to this day far as i know). His drunken blackout behavior got pretty bad apparently, and the rest of the band got tired of it. They had Andy Horn fill in for some shows after that, but he wasn't able to commit full time, so they got Adam. In an interview, Chance said had he been approached about how pissed the rest of the band was getting over his drinking before letting him go, he would have fixed things right then. He dedicated over ten years to the band, loved performing live. Last thing he wanted was to have to leave.
