Yes, 80s Never ending story was brilliant, the age without 3d graphics so all was so alive and with real soul.... Never forget this feeling when I saw this movie in theater!

Freaking a! Neverending Story is like my go to childhood movie, brings back so many memories. Growing up in the 80's/early 90's there was so many great fantasy/adventure movies. Labyrinth Willow Krull Legend The Beastmaster Conan Dark Crystal etc. and though not a fantasy how could I forgot, the Adventures of Milo and Otis.

As a German I was hoping that you would mention the ORIGINAL German name which is Fuchur. The original name "Fuchur" is derived from Japanese "Fukuryuu" (福竜 or 福龍, "lucky dragon"). It was changed in the English translation because the pronunciation of the original name is similar to that of the agentive form of an English expletive.

Falkor scared the s**t out of me as a kid. And all those monsters? The swamp?? At 6, that movie was basically fun horror. Most fantasy back then was kinda creepy and scary for little kids. And exciting. Not like the crap my kid grew up watching. Ah, the 80s.
