If your BAM gets eaten too early on tier 4: that’s my fault. I didn’t spot that my BAM resisted the speed down which allowed him to do the birds early enough. Dragon on tier4 has 279 speed, if you want to nullify the effect of speed down you’ll have to forfeit applying vulnerable with Bo. Mod her to have 278 speed and kill a bomb right after the dragon goes (prepare it using Candy’s basics). This way speed down will have no effect on BAM and he’ll get to use the birds at the right time. Apologies for the oversight on my end! Second half of the video with tier5 guide does work consistently the way it’s presented (and also works on tier6), only risk being Maul getting eaten on second swallow.

This worked very well for me once I had the modding dialed in, thanks for the guide! One thing of note about the modding: Maul health really matters. I did some runs at the start with around the same speed and offense as you, with around 72k health, and I just didn't have the damage to make the boss unburrow in time. Once I swapped some mods and traded some speed to get to 85k health, it went smoothly.

I'm following your opening sequence and right after my Armorer applies Beskar Armor to Maul my BAM keeps getting eaten before he can unleash Whistling Birds. I'm running at Diff 4. I originally had him at 294 like in your video. I have him up to 300 speed at this point and he's still getting eaten.

Yeah in diff4 he gains no TM from momentum so that could explain why he’s getting eaten too early. Make sure to blow up a charge right after the dragon spits to get rid of speed down

Tried this many times today and as others stated, bam gets eaten... I treid various speeds on everyone. also can't apply vulnerable the 2nd time.. have 160% potency and don't have mods for more potency.. 😥

160% potency should be enough, but it has a chance to get resisted so unfortunately all you can do is keep trying until it does land 😕 that’s the annoying part of tier4 with this team. Not as consistent as tier 5!

So the first few times Mando beskar basic worked on the Dragon when he was buried . Now it hasn't the last 4 times is that RNG factor? Have had like 20 dots on him most times

Great video. I find the debuffs he lands are having a big effect on my turn order (speed down\daze on canderous, etc) and if units get to go before or after his big moves. Guess you just need to run it a few times to get the right combo.

Yeah you have to play it a couple times to get the feel of it and slightly adapt your gameplay to your speeds if needed (or change your mods haha)

I believe so, yes. As you can see in the second run I win with 20% left until enrage so that should be doable. + If BAM gets the Tusken bonus of level 5 he should also get the one of level 6 so the birds should do massive damage

In tier 4, are you sure the krayt dragon is 285 speed? My Armorer standard mods are 305 speed and I can't go before the dragon.

Might be slightly higher, I didn’t test the exact speed and instead tried to infer it based on the t5 speed and the relative bonuses (+45% in t5 vs +15% in t4)

I think the armor-shred is important to get enough damage. You could maybe replace her with Sabine I guess, but Armorer has more uses in pvp. Also Sabine is probably too slow for tier 5.

I know it didn’t happen in your run, but every single time I have run this on T5, Maul gets dazed when the Dragon comes out after the first burrow. Throws it all completely off. No counter, nothing. Just sits there.

LOL I tried and the Krayt ate maul 4x in a row, so I just accepted and will try again the next raid and hope zabrak upset the krayt's stomach and he lets maul live

He's the hero unit, based on wording it seems like he gets all the bonuses besides double dipping into mandalorian boost 2x

​@Skelturix the original krayt details mentioned hero unit bonuses followed by the faction bonuses. Since he's a hero unit in the menus, I think it's just he gets all the bonuses they listed in the post.

This is intended. BAM is the only hero unit and gets special bonuses. They're not tusken faction bonuses (despite various parts of the hero bonuses overlapping with various faction bonuses)

@@snuglife3697 Momentum being gained from DoTs is part of the Difficulty 5 modifier, which is meant to apply to Tuskens only. So I wouldn't be so sure if this is WAI.
