I've been wanting to buy a softpad for myself ever since I started passing lv 19s, but I'm skeptic (hehe) of its durability. How long have you had it? How does it compare to arcade pads? What happens when one of mat sensors fail and how do you service them?

i've had the pad for 7 months and functionally it's still good. however, as u can see in the video the artwork will begin to fade and eventually fall off. as this happens the sensitivity also increases so maybe its a good thing??? when the sensors fail contact the seller and he will help u. compared to arcade, the buttons are closer together except the middle 4 where they are further apart. also, the sensitivity is terrible when stock, brackets take a lot of effort and middle 4 brackets (P1 DR and P2 DL) were literally impossible. to improve the sensitivity u have to slice open the pad to remove foam spacers from the buttons, they're glued under the top layer of the pad. my pad came with 4 foam spacers in each button so i took out 1 foam spacer each from the outer 4 buttons 2 per button from the middle 6.
