There are a few things to consider. The first...this game was made by 5 people not an entire company like Activision so obviously it aint gonna be perfect. Second... even in COD, Wall weapons are in the box. This is different to cod in the way that it is set in the Maid of Sker universe and takes from a Godlike inspiration as opposed to H.P.Lovecraft. it is amazing how they have dragged the inspiration from CoD with the intention of giving us what we have deserved since the good old, best days of bo3 zombies. I'm loving this game so far. Just finished all the hardcore EEs and cannot wait to actually use the Godkiller. I do think they should have revives as they are in CoD and not in the way they do.

If its a AAA developer then the game is monetized & watered down to all hell, if its an indie and/or English developer then its riddled with bugs and performance issues. I've played enough of BO3 to want something different, but not if its buggy & broken... very informative vid

You are of course entitled to your own opinion, but I am really struggling to understand how you came to the conclusion "the cons far out weigh the pros" lmao. Using Call of Duty Zombies as the bar, Sker Ritual falls short in only two categories imo: gun and perk diversity. Beyond that, the game lives up to the standard set by CoD despite having something like 1% the funding. This is FAR AND AWAY the best round based Zombies game to ever come out not attached to the Call of Duty brand. It quite literally has not been better than this, despite the handful of issues the game has. They have had less than a week since their 1.0 launch, I am sure they will address these shortcomings moving forward.

Personally I think this is better than any CoD zombies title past Cold War. I make the harsh criticism so that the developers may act on it fast, but don't let it deter you from playing this otherwise absolute gem of game. I understand the hesitancy though.

They need to fix the crashing, my game crashes most games on Xbox series S, really frustrating haven’t completed an Easter egg yet, also when I play online they shouldn’t have it so if the host leaves the games ends for everyone

Best part is, every negative you've listed is easily fixable through patches, nothing thats really flawed at the core fundamentally

On console even with 120hz uncapped, the game is still pretty choppy with everything spawned. And the game needs to be more controller friendly on console. There isn’t an ADS multiplier. Aim Assist isn’t helpful especially against a horde. There are only to button schemes. I understand this was only made but 5 guys but these settings are primitive compared to other shooters. Having some of this would at least make the game more approachable.

yea, those bosses have too much health, I feel like the character moves too slow even with the perk, and pack a punch needs more damage, also if this game had a form of PvP, would be cool too, like a 4 on 4 team deathmatch.

i bought to try it out and didnt like it. you have to invest time to upgrade the perks to make them useful and multiplayer is glitchy. solo is fine but it suck on multiplayer. there is no in game chat or voice option on a coop zombie shooter that needs you to help each other complete objectives.... base games seems fine but they Definitely needed longer polish and bug fixes. the game is just kinda barebones, even though the story and map is fleshed out, it seems like the game just doesn't match well to what it is supposed to be. a round based zombie shooter with open maps and story elements sound good, until you play the maps and have to run across the map with no voice chat to plan things out. game feels like it is missing features that cod already had. also i hate the melee for some reason, it feels narrow and i would miss melee attacks.

When people say British they automatically think English (even though they are from Germany), so call them by their real nationality which is Welsh. They also have a dlc called Draig's Terror which is basically the dragons head off our national flag.

So I'm looking into this game and I'm just a bit confused. Is the game still capped at 60hz or did they fix that? The way they word some things in the patch notes is confusing.

Respectfully, I think your performance issues are most likely on your end. I have had buttery smooth 144 fps gameplay in my ~8 hours of gameplay so far, no choppyness. Agree with most of your other comments, for me the biggest thing is gun diversity. While I would welcome more wonder weapons, as you suggest, imo the problem area is moreso the lack of typical ballistic options. Unless I'm missing something, there's literally 1 smg, 1 lmg, 2 ar, 2 pistols, and 2 (3?) shotguns. That just won't cut it, over the long term. It is theoretically pretty simple to have 3 different archetypes of each class of gun, imo that should be the focus in the short term.

Yeah the gun choices are incredibly bland and boring. I hope they add a lot more explosives, more throwables, and wonder weapons. They added ONE LMG, but yeah that won't cut it. I also disagree with your disagreement. Reason being, most people I know and have asked also complained about FPS. Also, on the actual patch notes in the most recent Hot-Fix, they actually addressed and fixed the fact that the FPS was locked on 60 for most individuals even though the game stated otherwise, so it was a known bug. Praying that this game succeeds, seems like we got a big community going!

@@Apxcxlyptic I see where the confusion lies. I bought the game Tuesday night, which was the night of the patch. I never experienced any of those issues. Glad they fixed it! Excited to see where the game goes moving forward, so much potential.

Would someone be able to explain how the god killer works? It seems its supposed to be super strong and kill alot of zombies but it doesnt seem to have the penetration power, i cant see any reason to use it over the howler

This is exciting. Killing floor started out as a counterstrike mod, so I'm excited to see where this goes. There's definitely a gap in the market for these kinds of CO op horror shooters. COD has been alienating more of their zombies fan with every passing year.
