In India, we have to pay 40% tax if we make over $20k/yr approx. But what do we get in return? Crappy roads, shitty sewages floating on the road, no social security especially for women & children etc. Even basic necessities are not up to the mark, I get only 1hr of water every day that too has no time disciplines, suffer 1-2hr of powercut everyday 🤦🏼 I won't mind paying higher tax to get the highest quality of life that these countries offer ✌🏼

Swedish and Norwegian are extremely easy to learn. I guess Dutch is easier, but it only took me 6 weeks to learn Swedish fluently, and even less to learn Norwegian. I had already learned Spanish in high school, and I found French way more difficult than the Nordic languages. I guess it depends on the age and purpose, the younger one is, then the easier it is to learn. Also, everybody speaks English in northern Europe/Scandinavia, there's no real need to learn the local language, although it helps a lot!

Canada's healthcare system is broken. Few people have a family doctor and you will wait a long time for many medical procedures. The educational system is also broken, albeit that occurred more recently. Look at the trend in PISA scores and judge a country's educational system on that. Canada was doing well until the 2018 PISA when scores broke their increasing trend and sharply declined. I predict that will be the new trend in Canada's scores: continued decline.

It looks more like that there is a common trend in all the countries that you have mentioned. All the countries are scarcely populated or have a declining population trend. Although, all the mentioned countries are economically well developed and have good public infrastructure, I think that there's a lot that goes into deciding an overseas location for raising children and hence, I don't agree with all the countries hence mentioned.
@Ozvideo19593 жыл бұрын
A country being sparsely populated is, in many cases, no real advantage. It means there is less pressure on infrastructure, but at the same time there are fewer taxpayers to pay for infrastructure projects and maintain them. Also, sparsely populated has to be coupled with consideration of the geographical size of the country. A relatively small population in a big country can mean more expensive transport infrastructure, but still relatively few people to pay for it, as well as the consideration of how much use a road or railway would get. For that reason alone population density, or lack thereof, is not an advantage, in many cases, it's a disadvantage. My opinion is, the countries that rank high on this list overwhelmingly rate highly because they target their spending on what's of most benefit to the populous and what's most beneficial to growing their economies.

the best countries to raise your family are your own. There's no need for migration.

What if the parents are from different countries ? Or if the person don't really fit. These things happen.
