Oh Julia they are all so pretty! You are the queen of little cutouts and free motion. I would have a mess with all those little pieces. I need to play with my decorative stitches. Yours look so pretty on the background fabrics. Hope you are still enjoying the warm weather. It’s starting to get a little warmer here but still chilly. Thanks for all the inspiration you give me creating your beautiful pieces. You are the best. Love & Hugs! 💕☀️🐇🐰

absolutely love your work....have you ever thought about getting a Cricut Maker? It makes easy work of cutting fabric, it will allow you to upload your own patterns but will cut them perfectly and will mirror cut too....makes quick work of cutting words too....I think it is a game changer for applique work. I just got one and I am just beginning to see all it can do.....😊

HI Sue, No, I have never looked into the Circuit Maker but will have to! So many gadgets! I do have the Silhouette Cameo and love it for vinyl and paper - not so much for fabric. My "go-to" die cutter is the Sizzix BigShot however you do need the dies. I love that it cuts up to 4 layers of fabric at a time. Thanks for the tip, I will do some research on the Circuit Maker. Julia

Which fabric medium do you use with your watercolors? Please. And what is its purpose? Thank you! Love your videos!💕
@stitchesbyjulia3 жыл бұрын
Hi, I am using GAC by Golden. I am sorry- I forgot to link it in my supplies. Here is the link amzn.to/2OYmO6J. But please note that other brands would also work. Fabric medium is added to paint to make it more washable. I usually do not use watercolor on items that require frequent washing but I do find that it is quite staining. It does lighten some in the wash. You may want to test to see if it works for you. I love adding color with paint! Thanks so much for watching, Julia

Adorable! In this project, you used regular watercolor paints wth fabric medium. In other projects, you use Inktense pencils. What determines which products you use?
@stitchesbyjulia3 жыл бұрын
Hi, I like to shake it up. I have been using watercolors a lot lately It is really easy to cover the area fast. I also like splattering with watercolors. Fabric medium helps set the color but you have to experiment to see if it is as permanent as you want. I would not use watercolor on anything that requires lots of washing. I am also still in AZ for a couple of weeks and have limited supplies with me. Thanks so much for watching! Julia

Hi, I am using water and a few drops of fabric medium. So sorry, I forgot to link it in my supply list. I am using GAC by Golden amzn.to/2OYmO6J. This is what I have on hand but you can find fabric medium in most craft stores. Thanks so much for watching, Julia
