I feel that in general, people crave forming connections, whether it's through watching your favorite KZbinr or chatting with people you've never met in discord. We all just want to find others to relate to, and it's refreshing to find so many outlets for that in our current setting.

I'm really enjoying these videos, I find them to be great for drawing along with, and full of good advice. Also, congrats on beating Gascoigne!! I knew you could do it. BSB was really tough for me too, but trust me, you don't need the cocktails or even any buffs to beat her. My main advice for the fight would be to stay very aggressive (notice a pattern here? lol) and stay on her right (the left of her from your pov). Try to sidestep attacks when you can rather than fully dodging, so that you can charge up an r2 on her butt and get a visceral attack. There are a lot of chances to do this in the fight if you position yourself well. Good luck :D

Heck yeah! Just beat her a few hours ago, didn’t use pungies and just did the same thing that you described here. Cheers!

Surely I'm not the only one, but I struggle with the word "hobby". I don't want to be a working artist, but still be proficient in my "hobby", so I study/practice which isn't always "fun" like a hobby is supposed to be (assuming that all hobbyists just want to have fun and enjoy themselves without much challenge). It's just something that I really enjoy doing, so naturally I want to be good at it. At the same time, I have trouble accepting art as just something I do for fun, EVEN THOUGH that's exactly the reason I draw. It feels like a paradox I can't get out of and it's really confusing me on this journey. My biggest goal right now is staying consistent without hating myself/making myself suffer. I want to draw because I love it and to improve, even if the two seem mutually exclusive sometimes. The way I think about it now as opposed to few years ago is staying patient, taking a breath instead of imagining this "finish line/end goal" that doesn't exist. It also lets me take off that self-inflicted pressure to post everything I draw, and just draw. To put it in some context, I never cared about "sucking at my dayjob" because it's not something I enjoyed. I don't believe I was ever "terrible", but I definitely didn't care and that showed some days more than others. Those jobs were not "fulfilling", just monkey work - and please don't take this the wrong way, I respect all of us "average" human beings that puts up with those shitty jobs so we can do something we love one day. I guess overall that still makes me selfish and irresponsible at best, but I'm not perfect and just want to be happy in life.

This video could not have come at a better time for me - I'm overrun with class assignments, I have little to no inspiration and nothing I draw is working. However I am comparing myself to people who have been professional artists for 10+ years and I keep forgetting that I am only just beginning my journey. My teachers aren't expecting perfect homework, so I don't know why I am wasting so much time restarting when all I can ever do is my best.

In 2012 we went on a family trip and we had these sunglasses that had a small camera built in the frame. They could film like 2h? of footage maybe? Don't remember. And don't remember what the quality was as I only viewed the footage one time after the trip and never again, and the camera sunglasses were lost after that :O But that was 9 years ago so there should be something even better out there for sale (I'd be surprised if not)

37:41 i am as a crypto person and art person beginning to get really annoyed when every art video is starting to be about nfts. again i will say it again beeple is an incredible person. i love beeple. if any artist makes a video about nft and wants to say anything about art, i want to hear beeple mentioned at least. he is one of my favs out there, and yes I guess thats dehumanizing him am i right? still havent finished the video, but i wont respond after this anyway
@AhmedAldoori3 жыл бұрын
I’m quite confused - I haven’t shared any opinions on the actual thing, just the people and how bloody things seem to be getting. I also think beeple is cool, not sure what you’re implying
@EckosamaGhostTsushima3 жыл бұрын
@@AhmedAldoori I am not implying anything about this video, just about nft topic in general. I think its important to talk about beeple if the topic is about nfts. His artwork is what caused the outrage, everyone references it. But no one realizes he is the man behind daily digital art. Without that context, the nft will continue to be about the outrage over the 69 million dollar price tag. I do think its an overdone topic though, and uninformed on the part of many artists who talk about it. I think Id also like to add that even the buyer isnt just some random artless rich person but an early adopter of crypto and someone who believes in decentralization. He had very little when he first started with crypto but got money because of it, and also wanted nft art to be a thing, since it will change the world. I know your video doesnt go over this and doesnt really cover nfts, but I do kind of think its a responsibility of artists to mention beeple at least. I listen to him on maciej kuciaras podcast and I do think you mentioned the daily art thing before in a video years ago.
