just a lil reminder that sketchbooks with finished pieces are nice and everything, but that doesn't need to be the goal for every sketchbook! For example I have 2, 1 for perfectionist sketchbook stuff and one for just making sure I draw frequently Edit: this isnt a dig at cosmic btw, I just remember looking at youtube artists when I was younger and feeling I have to do everything like them

I love your art so much! Just here to say that we (black people) don’t call them dreads/dreadlocks (from my perspective anyway) anymore. There’s a whole racial language thing about the terminology of ’dreads’ so her hairstyle would be considered jumbo locs😊. Seriously though, seeing Sweet in protective styles is giving me life!

Re. Going bigger, I've done murals . . .on fighter jets! So a little advice, the bigger the canvas the bigger the tools & more materials, you just scale it up. It's very liberating & you're art will improve overall. You already have the skills, be brave. Good luck 😊

Wow! Everything you said I feel the same way. Searching for 5 references becomes 105 references and no art. And there is something about drawing with pencil ink and paper that I don't get out of my digital art. It sounds weird but I see my thought process from pencil and paper and fix mistakes. With digital I erase so quick I don't remember the mistake I made and continue doing the same thing over with other drawings.

I have the exact opposite issue XD I tend to draw way to big, I used to have to push myself to make smaller things. Now I used a 2000x2500 pixels sized canvas which sounds big but its a lot smaller than I used to do lol
