i was wondering if i could ask you about how i could integrate my journaling into more of an artistic and creative process? i wanted to write and draw or doodle on the same page but your post about the inner critic really brought me to your channel so i don't really have a direct question and now im just rambling but thank you and i will try to do my best with letting my creativity flow to the best of my ability.
@marienoellewurm6 ай бұрын
ooo good question! I would say grab yourself a sketchbook that is both suitable for pen and ink AND for other media (like watercolor if you like to use that), but immediately START it with a journaling page. Then on the next page, allow yourself to scribble and test out your art materials on the page, to just see how they react on this specific paper. Maybe even create a quote/reminder to yourself of your goal of wanting to both journal AND art within the same space. Let me know if any of those ideas work! And also, I loooove what you said at the end "I will try to do my best with letting my creativity flow to the best of my ability" - yes yes yes!! that is SUCH a powerful way of envisioning it. :) all we can do is our best, and our best is good enough. sending love your way!

Yeah thanks for the encouragement. I also like the sketchbooks for my journal because I want to be more creative and they are bigger than the regular notebooks 😅

Wow so gorgeous! ❤ Uhh, I need not to compare my art to yours 😂
@marienoellewurm6 ай бұрын
aw thanks :) and yesss our pesky minds have this funny habit of comparing, right?? tell that part of you to kindly go take a nap while you get scribbling and make your own art :D You'll get to where you want to go, I have no doubt!
