The best “relationship” I had with a journal was with one I got a super cheap one and decorated with a paper cover, glued in paper tabs and a few ribbons for page markers.

I loved your video and I love your aesthetic! Your tipps really resonated with me. I journal for a long time now, but I only managed to do it consistently after I let go of all my expectations. The moment I stopped caring about a routine, really thought out spreads, themes etc. was the moment I really fell in love with it and all of a sudden it's something I look forward to. Ironically my journaling became way more consistent and creative in the process. I now realise that freeing myself from all the pressure I put on me was a good practise in being kind to myself.

I use an A5 binder with 6 rings, so I can move pages around and discard the ones I don’t like very much or re-do some stuff. This way, the first page isn’t intimidating, you don’t feel the pressure of filling it in all the way (because it can be finished whenever you want) and if you need extra space you can just add more pages: just punch some holes in and that’s it. I normally carry a couple of months in it and then store all my year in a bigger 30mm ring binder I make if the ones that are already made are too thin 😊

This was a really nice video! It made me pick up my journaling after not doing it for a while. I keep a journal for meditation and sketching purposes. There's something soothing and inspiring about writing and drawing to me. Hope you're doing well! :)

YESSSSS I love Journaling so much, Ive been working on my journal for almost 3 years now off and on, I also have actual sketchbook that I draw in sometimes, i tend to get art block alot so i can never really draw on multiple pages a day, and words are easier so I fill up pages faster in my journal I usually write about 2 pages and on days where there's a lot on my mind I can write 6. I never usually finish my sketchbooks but this one im just sticking with it this time. I also have a new journal that I havent started yet but if I finish my journal or sketchbook first im gonna start on it :D I want this new one to be a all in one thing, I feel like it's mostly gonna have words in it but it's gonna be a journal, junk journal and sketchbook all in one!! I'm soo excited for that because I've got so many scrapbooking supplies, the journal will be super thicc after it's done 😆 have a nice day/night!
