I think you capture the facial features really well, I think the only room for improvement really is face shape. I think you did really well with both of those things on the frank + vines page & the gerard one that you said you didnt really like actually :)

i've never used copics, but i've used other alcohol-based markers in it and had no issues with bleeding!

not really? it's just what i've developed over time. look into some comic book artists, i look up to tommy lee edwards a lot. comic books are a pretty big influence on the dark lineart/shading.
