Oh gosh Sandi, love the sketchbook tour! Thank you for sharing . I find it hard to say which one stood out for me as I appreciate your free expression so much. However, I really enjoyed," weeds at the campsite" as it is very simple and yet intense. Also, the pond picture. I think you have a large painting like that in your studio. Very enjoyable and motivating! You are the best❤💯💥

Just fantastic Sandi. My old friend is Tessa,Newcomb a painter from Suffolk UK and her mother Mary Newcomb and she had a unique style. And I can see that you are getting an interesting style. Im also a painter and here in Queensland Australia we love to watch your shows so thanking you. The way I said it, it sounded like Mary Newcomb is still alive, no she passed in 2008.

There is just something wonderful about your sketchbook tours, very inspiring to get some sketchbook action happening this weekend. I love that you did the Moleskine - I have one and wondered how it would hold up! Thank you for showing up in KZbin and Insta each week. A little spot of creativity to enjoy each week. Hard to pick a favourite, but I really loved the Still Life with the black and white jug. But also those landscapes are beautiful,,,,hard to pick 😊🙏

I loved the Robin, the mary feddon inspiration, your colorful landscape with the pink in the sky and church and community, loved all the Emma Carlisle workshop ones, loved the stamp ones and the self portrait you had room for there. I think showing your sketchbook in the way you do it, is very personal, it speaks to me, I feel very touched - I love the small picture with the empty space above and the red table, but also these landscapes with ink ... I'm going to finish one of my sketchbooks in the next few days and yes, it is kind of exciting and emotional to me., so thanks a lot, you are an inspiration.

There's something really compelling about that little square painting below the empty square. That and the ink spread with the line of lighter green "orchard" trees. Definitely faves! I am breaking out the paints tomorrow!

I love the botanical/weeds sketch at 6:55 that you called a hot mess. It shows both the chaos and structure of nature. And I love your trees. The ones outlined in a mid-value blue at 5:35 are beautiful. I made a note to self to experiment with outlining in that colour. Thank you for sharing your art. It’s teaching me to paint looser, to let go of being meticulous.

Thank you for sharing this sketchbook. I appreciated seeing your variety of materials used, repeated scenes/themes, along with just whatever you were doing on any given day. Im fairly new and enjoy a variety of materials. Im thinking Im too hard on myself (critical) but see the benefits of using a sketchbook format and “just keep going”. Mist sketchbook tours I have seen look so “perfect”, basically one medium, and very intimidating to a beginner. Thank you so much.💖

Really beautiful Sandi, I love the loosness in your landscapes a lot (the super quick ones in ink are gorgeous), this is not to say I don't also love your 'tighter' drawings. I think Moleskine is my fave sketchbook of all time but I've ordered a Stillman and Birn and can't wait to try that out too. Thanks for the new video, Sandi! ❤️ Every page is so beautiful, but one of my favorites is Aug 9, 2021. Love the colors! I also really appreciate you showing how you leave some things unfinished. I tend to be a little overly type A and feel like I have to finish one piece before I move on to the next. I love the freedom of just moving on whenever you’re ready. Definitely going to challenge myself to do that more in my sketchbook. Great video. Thanks for all the work you put into creating it.

I love the "hot mess" drawing in July a lot. The use of all sorts of art supplies on the same page. It looks very monotone from far but up close lots of dimension and layers :). Also the one where you were using charcoal to fill up the space where paper bled through. I'm actually currently going through that stage right now with some of my sketchbooks, trying to find what I can use the space where I have some blank space, even trying to use the inside cover. I've been interested in using arcrylic inks and now seeing you use them makes me want to try out a couple. Awesome job Sandy :)

Great video . I know you are showing a Moleskine book but is it sketchbook paper or watercolor paper ? One has 96 pages the other 60 pages. Also what size do you use? Do you like the portrait or landscape configuration better or do you use both? Enjoy the freedom of your paint application. That is what I am striving for myself. 😊❤️

I loved the sketch at 9:36 and was spontaneously seeing “Der blaue Reiter” by Wassily Kandinsky and Franz Marc. Do you know the work of the group of artists? There is a painting called „Der Turm der blauen Pferde“ (translated it would maybe be called the tower of blue horses) and I just spontaneously saw the blue horse in your sketch 🙃 Thanks for the Vlog, Sandi.
