Adam, your new Sketchup-v-Rhino series is an excellent idea! This video is even better than your last on the subject, excellent work! In future videos, you might be able to skip some steps that slow it down with a quick on-screen note like "Set Materials". For example, you could set materials the first time in both, then in subsequent steps, abbreviate it because I believe the most benefit comes from the modeling side.

I think overall sketchup is good for quick modelling and concepting. On the other hand rhino is much more commands and learning curve which is helpful for long term single software use. The benefit of sketchup is easy to use and quick prototyping while rhino has full flexibility in doing any type of 3D work including nurbs, meshes, subd, 2d CAD, point cloud. With time features of sketchup are merging with Rhino like pushpull tool. Sketchup Has benefit of extension and also you can find readymade models from warehouse. In Rhino all the necessary functionality is built in so it has more stability and you don't have to buy addons as much. Also rhino is capable of importing various file types including .skp file. I prefer Rhino because it can handle any type of 2D and 3D work efficiently and in a single program. You have much more to learn in Rhino and grasshopper which keeps you motivated in learning and also we can automate our repeated task using grasshopper.

For quick work sketchup is best, for long term professional rhino is more capable.

although SketchUp is much easier to learn and to model objects, but Arch companies require and prefer Rhino.
