If you don't want to see the horizon line of the ground plane but you want to keep the ground shadows then just set the projection type from parallel to perspective and set the lens length to something like 5000.

Dear Nikol. Thank you for responding so quickly. Something happened: while I was creating a simple new scene on a default Rhino template, the problem magically disappeared,. For some reason, this problem only appears in the specific file I was working on. The challenge is figuring out which option I changed that caused the problem. Anyway, thanks a lot for your help.

Hi Niko. Great tutorial man! I probably must have watched it 10 times. However, there is something I can't resolve regarding the thickness of the lines. I wanted to have this freedom to define the thickness of each object, also in layout views, but it seems that this only works in modeling views... any suggestions? Anyway, thank you very much for everything.
@NikoDellic11 ай бұрын
you can set the thickness per layer or per object. you then need to specify when you print to follow the object settings as opposed to the print settings. Let me know if that helps

Hey Niko, I love the videos! It's wild realizing how little I know about Rhino. Also, I was following along but when using 'SetObjectDisplayMode', it doesn't give me the option to select 'mode' in the command bar. It just says "Choose attributes for selected objects:" and nothing after (I see yours shows "(Mode = UseView)" after). Am I missing something? Or do you know why this might be happening and how I can solve it? Thanks so much.

@@NikoDellic PC. After much frustration turns out that I copied a display mode that wasn't available using SetObjectDisplayMode. Once I changed my base mode I didn't have any issues. So anything that doesn't appear as selectable (ie Monochrome) as a mode view then you shouldn't use it as a base to copy from.
