This series Modeling a Chess Set was the best way for me to learn all the basic techniques. A wonderful set of teaching materials. Recently I went through all the lessons again as a refresher course. Perfect! I can recommend this to anyone who starts with 3D drawing with SketchUp. Thanks Aaron for the clear and nice explanation!

Um why isn't my circle at the top going all the wall around after using follow me tool?

should you probably Weld the pattern / piece / plane before follow? would prevent problems later?

That WOULD work, except that all of this is done in the web-based version of SketchUp which does not have a weld tool, at this point.

Hello, I have a problem in sketchup. The problem is, a file not open in sketchup. file size 320 MB. You have any solution ?? please help me. I use Sketchup 2016.

Hi, like your ways, FYI the "egg shape" is a mitre, a very old style hat or crown for , usually religious, important people. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitre.
