This is my favorite vinyl video of all-time. I was on the edge of my seat at the beginning. Forget McCartney's "Flaming Pie". Give another one of these. Let me give a plug for Elmer's Titebond II (2) wood glue. It will pull all the dirt out of the grooves. Today I used it on a VG+ copy of Horace Silver's "Silver's Blue", first press. I had cleaned it but I couldn't get it super clean and I could hear it. I cleaned it with wood glue and it sounds SO much better. I've been doing it for a decade. I'm a 50-year record collector/small-time seller so I'm experienced. - - - - I found the only copy of the first release (45) of the original members of the Byrds. . (Three members - "Beefeaters" on Bounty), also a 45 that sold for $6,000 (Contours 45 doo-wop - only copy), etc. - - - - Anyway, I'm not a newbie and wood glue is amazing. It also makes the record shine like new. Look on KZbin. Practice on junk. Amaze your college buddies.

I do respect the American and Canadian albums, for there place in history, I do like the different album cover photos, but will not play those, they don’t sound great at all, always and forever will the UK albums dominate for the best listening experience of there catalogue. Those are the only ones I will play. I will collect for the American and Canadian ones for the covers though. Great videos, Donny. I dig your channel, hope your well.!

Hey man I really enjoy your videos 👍 Do you happen to know of anywhere you can buy just the outer sleeves for records? I have a few old records that are in good shape but don't have sleeves

Your local record store sell them individually and cheap. Like 10 cents each

Huh this pretty fascinating. I haven't really gambled on eBay records much. The only time I did buy was a mono pet sounds that didn't have a record condition and pressings information. I won the auction at 30 dollars plus shipping and the record turned out to be authentic L. A. mono pressing vg almost vg+ condition. I was satisfied.

I dig the copy of help and rubber soul. That's cool that it was well taken care of.

Ebay can be the worst when it comes to packaging sometimes. I ordered s pink Floyd record years back that was a flattened pizza box turned in side out too, don’t understand why, but record arrived in good condition

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry at the packaging,I don’t buy from E-bay anymore, too much of a risk.

It’s only really a risk if you don’t know what to look for. Iv’e been buying vinyl regularly from eBay for the least few years and had some absolute bargains. Feedback, photos and the way people describe items is often a good clue to what your dealing with ( and what your likely to get). With eBay - the general rule is - if it sounds too good to be true , it often is and common sense Prevails

That was groundbreaking music. You couldn't expect "Sgt. Peppers" to show up in 1963. Anyway, "I Saw Her Standing There" rocked!
