Friendly advice, use ball point tips and remove supports while your builds are still wet with alcohol. It'll be easier and cleaner with this resin :) Overall great and honest review!

No Need for Boric Acid mixture? So beneficial. I'm curious how the 400 series works with larger pieces. Edit: Oh.. Nevermind.. I should have kept watching before my question. it seems the 400 series works well for larger pieces too!....WOW..

Thank you so much for this video one question, please: The UV Light is special for some kind of resinsor it use for all
@SterlingKisses Жыл бұрын
Hello, and thank you. There's nothing special about the uv light. Any uv light source will cure the piece. The stronger the light the faster it will cure.

Amazing Prints and great video! Couple Questions, What is the cleaning @ 9:35 and what is the gold pen like tip you apply to the bangle @ 9:45. Thanks for sharing and cheers!
@SterlingKisses3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! That is an electrocleaning process. It helps clean and prepare the surface for plating. The pen tip is a felt pen plating tip that has been soaked in a 14kt gold plating solution.

With your experience, which resin do you think performs the best? I.e minimal shrinkage, high quality, little to no porosity. Mainly porosity has been my issue. Not sure how to address it
@SterlingKisses3 жыл бұрын
I like the easycast 200 for the detail I can get out of it but both resins perform well. Sounds like your flask temperature might be too high if you are regularly having porosity issues. Could be an investment issue or problem with your burn out schedual too. Make sure your flasks rest for at least 4 hours after investing.

Any clear improvement over the brown version? I have arround 50 percent left but recently my casting house doesnt cast them well. Was thinking mayve ec200 would be it. Thinking to replace brown with ec200
@SterlingKisses2 жыл бұрын
I think the ec200 is better over all. The only thing to note is that it is picky about the initial stage of your burnout. If the kiln overshoots it could cause problems. If your casting house is having trouble with brown, then I don't know if they would cast ec200 any better.

thank you very much for your review. I've been trying to cast with: blue cast, power wax zero and another brand and Senertek all come out failed. I think I'll try this one. would you suggest going for the 400 even for small pieces due to the greater percentage of wax?
@SterlingKisses2 жыл бұрын
EC200 is probably the better choice for small pieces.

@@SterlingKisses I saw a vid where the 200 had some Residue unlike the 400. I wonder
@SterlingKisses2 жыл бұрын
@@itailu it probably comes down to burnout. 200 is picky about the initial burnout temperature. My concern with using 400 on detailed parts is that it might be difficult to get a successful print on delicate pieces.

@@SterlingKisses that’s a shame, I mean why can’t one resin give a solution for every kind of model. That skull ring had small detail and was big no? With all the waist of money, time and energy I had with the resins I used I’m starting to regret this adventure.
