Did you have the sled running with the broken nipple, or was it failing to start? Having fuel Issues with my 2016 xrs 800 after riding hard on some snow banks, and figuring it’s a fuel pump related with the symptoms and troubleshooting I’ve done, just won’t know if it’s this similar issue Until I tear the machine down.

It ran for like 3 seconds and then the nipple failed and started pissing out fuel. So basically it had no fuel pressure. Check your fuel filter(especially if it hasn’t been changed in a while). You could even unplug the hose that feeds the filter and crank it to see if fuel is coming out. Then do the opposite up stream of the filer to see if the filter is blocking the flow
