When looking for a helmet, there are four things you want to consider:
FIT
FEATURES
STYLE
PRICE
FIT
1. Find a helmet that has an adjustable fit. A good helmet should fit snug but not too tight.
2. Look for a helmet with a size adjustment dial.
3. Your helmet should be comfortable, snug, secure, and not slip off when you fall.
FEATURES TO LOOK FOR IN YOUR SNOW HELMET:
1. Airflow. Proper air vents will wick the heat away from your head and make your goggles less foggy.

As a CASI Lv3 instructor thank you for bringing awareness about wearing a helmet!! It frustrates me the amount of beginner students I’ve seen that don’t wear a helmet. They spend over $1000 dollar on taking multiple lessons, yet refused to spend $200 (or less) on a helmet that can save their life just because they think it looks “cooler”. It won’t be cool when you’re on deathbed. It only takes one accident to kill you. You can be the most careful snowboarder but others aren’t.

I would recommend a magnetic buckle like fidlock, very easy under the chin with no skin pinching and super easy with gloves or mittens. Informative video thumbs UP!

please tell me how you get the ear pads out! I just bought the helmet a month or so ago, put the pads in and can't get them out without fear of breaking them off 😬😜. with this warm ass winter, trying not to have my earlobes sweat next trip to the mountain 😅

I think that was yesterday, omg.. it was a stupid fall getting out of the lift! My ski pole got caught according to my husband on his ski, so he was trying to lifted me? 🤔 that’s what it felt like., so my body weight went Into him he let me go bz he was falling n my head hit the ground like basketball 😱😱 it was so bad my goggles cut my face! Definitely safe me from a mayor injury amen!! for the helmet! Oh.. let’s add up to this story as we were getting ready he said it’s too hot you are going to get too hot with the helmet 😱😱😱 I glad didn’t heard that nonsense!! I most definitely will be in a hospital! SO PLEASED WHO CARES HOW HOT IT IS WERE UR HELMET!

I have not been skiing in probably 15 years, but I am pretty sure you will get laughed off the slopes in a helmet. No one uses these.
