Xtrem skid plate KTM 250EXC / 300EXC / 250 XCW / 300XCW. Weight: 1.1Kg. Made of high density polyethylene plastic 8mm thick, the skid plate offers a full protection of the frame until the footpegs, of the cases and of the water pump. HDPE is 30 to 40% lighter than its equivalent in aluminium, it does not generate vibrations and does not save impacts. This model fits only on KTM 250EXC / 300EXC / 250 XCW / 300XCW .

Sabot moteur Xtrem KTM 250EXC / 300EXC. Poids : 1.1Kg. Conçu en PEHD (plastique polyéthylène haute densité) d’épaisseur 8mm. Ce sabot est 30 à 40% plus léger que son équivalent en aluminium. Il ne génère pas de vibrations, ne subit pas les déformations et réduit le bruit des impacts. Nouvelles soudures renforcées, il protège intégralement le cadre inférieur, la pompe à eau et les différents carters moteur. Une languette réduit les entrées de boue à l’intérieur du sabot. Se monte uniquement sur KTM 250EXC / 300EXC / 250XCW / 300XCW.

I really like your product but I never had so much trouble installing a skid plate. The front part with trying to align holes was a real pain in ……. Had to find longer bolt that i had that fit and get that bracket to align correctly. Im sure there is a easier way. Really good product, always had AXP skid plate on my bikes but this one is a real pain to install 🤷🏻‍♂️

Bolts I received in mine are too short and do not reach the clamps on the front mount.

if they are 30mm long, so they are the good ones. You need to push with a hand on the skid plate and put the screw with the other. We use the same in the video. you can write to [e-mail] with pictures if needed

@@axpracing You guys should really consider providing a 35mm length bolt in the kit to help suck in one side of the guard to get the kits 30mm bolt in on the other side (or just rework the mount so that it fits as good as the OEM guard). This was the recommendation of the large dealer that I bought this plate from and they had also let me know that several of their customers have this issue with this style of mount for the newer chassis KTM. Had to shoot to a store to grab a 35mm bolt since forcing the plate up with one hand while trying to thread the bolt in is not working.

@@Shecki603 remark took in count, we have replaced by a Th 6x35mm for the next production so it will make the fit easier, as requested. Thanks for your feedback

This company’s instructions are utterly terrible- and missing. It makes you go on a witch hunt to find the instructions. All I’ve got is a bag of confusing hardware, a pair of strange metal brackets for my TE150i 2020 I purchased off an authorised AXP supplier in the UK, a set of small illegible black and white photos in the paperwork (they don’t explain anything) and a suggestion to visit here for “a video”. Well despite searching for 30 mins and wading through the videos I can’t find the instructions for mine. Useless, so I can’t actually fit it. Please can you sort out this? It’s basic stuff and not meant to be hard. I’ve just spent £135 for what is essentially some plastic and bolts and so far have no correct guidance on how to fit it. I expected far better

Update - I figured it out but couldn’t find a video or instructions that detailed mine and the bracket. I guessed you had to remove the exhaust and the bracket went up between the frame and was held in by bolts that went through small holes in the frame
