Next time you pull the skid release the torsion springs. It will make the removal easier with the rear arm collapsed.

Just purchased this sled. Have a question, when do you know it’s time to replace these? How much tension and pressure should you feel when you press down. ? Thank you !!!

Push down on the rear bumper until the suspension is all the way down, then let it go. If the suspension comes up fast then you shocks definitely need a rebuild. The faster the suspension come back up the worse the shocks are. The shocks actually slow the springs down from rebounding too fast. If your rear suspension is bouncy then you need to rebuild the shocks. I hope that helps.

If you put a ratchet strap around your skid first you won’t fight it as much ! Compress the skid and it comes right out!!!

Hi, I have to remove the shock from my 04 pantera. Is it the same process as this?

yppat It should be similar but every sled is different. Especially from brand to brand. This is a Ski-Doo and you have an Arctic Cat.

I think we have been misunderstanding the term for all of these years. From what I could find "double bicep" is a pose. We understood it to refer to the shape of the bicep having a defined separation into 2 bulges. Sorry this is so late in responding.

Ski Doo....made in Canada...so yeah its metric.... Rotax motor....Austria...so also metric..

Track length not metric? 129", 137" etc. What's up with that? Canada still builds homes in feet and inches as well. Most stuff is metric though when it comes to automotive even American cars. Thanks for watching.
