EXTREMELY EASY Woodruff Key Removal Tip

Stumbled across this super easy technique to remove the woodruff key from the Suzuki DR650 flywheel shaft, thought it might help someone somewhere sometime.
Maybe the hotshot motorcycle mechanics already know this one but I seen on some forums people were struggling with it.

If you need to get a woodruff key out that has been ground flat to the shaft, or this just isnt working, drill and tap a small blind hole and use a machine screw and pliers to pry it out

Nice video! I was wondering if this would have anything to do with my clutch hub nut coming loose. I’ll torque it to spec and blue loc tite but still comes loose and I was told this may be the culprit.

Why dont they machine a crankshaft with a bump on it instead of a woodruff key?
