I have ridden some of those tracks from the Kennedy Ranges all the way down to Jarrahdale so great to recognise some of the same terrain. I love how your skills just let you tackle all kinds of random routes and are good enough to get you out of just about any pickle. 👍👏

Nice, it is pretty cool having the trainline there to keep it interesting on that bit of the route. Most my skills come from necessity from my bush bashing days, something get in the way, gotta go over it. :)

You certainly developed your individual style of riding. I note a mix of 'off road-dish' technique. If you will share publicly, what main 'bike genre' laid your foundation? Was it enduro style, MX or off road style or was it simply 'time in the saddle?

I rode enduro bikes for years before getting the DR. Bush riding, Trails and hard enduro type stuff.

Nice ride and camping! I'm a big fan for sure. Outback isn't for humans. Doing it solo! Even the bridge crossing at 21:20 could've ended badly easily too. That's a stout ride, welcome back to Perth!

A spare tube. Usually. Actually a mate at the Kennedy Ranges ride was a bit worried so gave me his epirb to take.

@@SKIDSnSTUFF yeah an epirb at least! Or an Inreach/Spot or satellite phone. Might save you a lot of grief if you get stranded from a breakdown (on a DR? Pfft) or come off & break your arm etc

@@SKIDSnSTUFF OK I'm putting it on the wishlist. Picked up my 2020 DR650 just love it. So much lighter than the R1200GS. I did some tracke out the back of Dwellingup last weekend that was really hard going on the GS, man it was a piece of piss on the DR.
