I'm sort of just now realizing how much of an impression Valua left on me. It must have been over 15 years now since I played the game, yet I consistently envision Valua when imagining what cities in books I'm reading look like.

It's because it's a very real and relatable place even in the real world we live in right now. I replayed the game myself just a year ago and EVERYTHING about it still holds up to this day, believe it or not. It's such a masterpiece of a game!

I loved walking around Valua city even though it's so small. Talking to a bunch of depressed workers drinking beer after a hard day's work in a city that sees no daylight. It's that depressive atmospere of urban hell that I like a lot.

A long time ago, a buddy sold me two games for cheap for the Gamecube. One was Tales of Symphonia, a fantastic RPG I remember fondly. The other? Skies of Arcadia Legends. I still come back to this game time after time, and while some memories have faded, Lower Vaula City does not. Drab buildings on the verge of collapse, a dark depressing slab of gray and black above and below, people who are only going through the motions of living and long since given up hope, and this music hitting you as soon as Vyse and Aika step off the Little Jack, seeing it as you do. That’s when I fell in love with this game, and knew it was different.

If it is any consolation, this track playing on SMBZ made me look up Skies of Arcadia, then gameplay of it, before getting the game for myself. It is one of the best JRPGs I've played to this day, next to Live-A-Live.

BWAH HAH HAH HAH HAH!!!" Toadsworth: I say! I never really understood why villains always laugh like that. Sonic: Never mind that. What I wanna know is how he found out about the Chaos Emeralds. Stuffwell: It would appear King Koopa has been doing his research. But the real question is, shall we follow his heinous demands? Mario shakes his head dening the demands. Toadsworth: What??? But...but...how will you ever get the Princess back if you don't do as he say? Mario does his two punches and one kick so to fight and rescue her instead. Sonic: Yeah! That's what I'm talking about! Good ol' "Kick butt diplomacy!" Shadow and I will be glad to help you guys out. We'll definitely get her back if we work together. Shadow only got closer to Sonic. Shadow: Excuse me? I didn't quite catch that last part amongst the mindless babbling. Sonic: Huh? I said that we'd go and help them rescue Princess Peach from Bowser. Shadow: I see...well, I'm going to put this as lightly as I can, Sonic, but... Shadow punches Sonic so hard, causing Sonic to fly towards Mario, knocking over Toadsworth and Yoshi panicking. Shadow: FORGET IT!!! Sonic spindashes ups and conforts Shadow, leaving Mario dizzy. Sonic: Nngh! What the heck is wrong with you?! Don't you understand the crisis here?! Shadow: Crisis? What crisis? That weakling woman isn't worth the dirt on your shoes. Mario, Luigi and Yoshi got angry after hearing what Shadow said. Sonic: OK, that's it! I've had enough of your inflated ego and lone-ranger attitude ever since we arrived in this dimension! Mario and Luigi have selflessly helped in OUR mission, so we should at least help them with THEIRS! Shadow: Have you ever so conveniently forgotten about the consequences of failing our own mission?! Mecha Sonic is still out there trying to find the two remaining Emeralds, yet you insist on giving him more time to do so! Shadow teleports away from Mario and Luigi's house, leaving Sonic with them. Sonic: No! Shadow! Come back!!! Sonic only regrets for the harmful words he said to Shadow, now he reailzed that he now truly lost everything. Stuffwell: Do not worry, Master Sonic. I surmise he merely requires time alone. We should be thankful that he has already done very much for us and that he has not hit a tradic end. Sonic....................... Stuffwell: But for now, Masters, we must not delay. I propose we make haste to the Professor's laboratory, where he may be able to assist us in te rescue of the Princess. Mario nod his head and he italian grabbish to Luigi and Yoshi for the rescue as Stuffwell leaves the house and heads towards E Gadd's laboratory, causing Luigi nod his head as he and Yoshi follow Stuffwell. Mario looks at Sonic as he got closer to him by later, puting his hand on his shoulder. Mario: Sonic. Sonic: Yeah...Let's go... Mario and Sonic leaves the house and follows the others, while that, Toadsworth regains awareness as he looks all over the house, only to see that nobody was there. Toadsworth: Good heavens! Where did everybody run off to?

Sonic (Apocalipto): caliburn conoces un lugar llamado Mobius ? Caliburn: no Sonic(Apocalipto) : lo reconozcerias en el pasado ya que tenía la misma vegetación y agua que la tierra , en ese lugar vivía yo con mis amigos , no teníamos una vida tan ocupada hasta que llegó el que actualmente es mi aliado Eggman , el intentaba usar sus inventos para poder dominar el mundo y yo lo detenía en cualquier momento, hasta ya se volvió mi rutina hasta que creo una copia llamada Silver Sonic , fue fácil derrotarlo , siguio creando más y más hasta que creo a dos copias llamada mecha Sonic y metal Sonic , fue difícil enfrentarme a los dos pero los pude derrotar, con el paso del tiempo ellos intentaron venderme pero fue el mismo resultado,paso algo una invasión eggman creo a alguien o algo llamado Infinite la cuál casi logra derrotarme hasta que quedó en encerrado en el phantom ruby , varios meces pasaron y de alguna forma mecha y metal lograron crear una conciencia propias y con el fin de matarme de una vez se infiltraron en el death egg y absorviendo las otras copias y parte de la energía de lo que quedaba en el rubi ellos se convieron en mechadrix y Neo metal , eggman enterándose de esto intento amenazarlos con desactivarlos pero ellos ahora eran según dioses y en un intento en matar a su creador provocan la caída de la base haciendo que cayera en Mobius provocando que no vuelva el sol , los dos liberaron a Infinite y empezaron a matar a todos , primero a mi mejor amigo tails ,luego a Knuckles,más tarde a cream , también a los demás , yo era el único que quedaba tenía intente derrotarlos pero era en vano , fui vencido, me capturaron y me encadenaron en la torre siendo torturando por casi 2 años *se toca su cicatriz de su ojo , hasta que pude liberarme y saltar por la ventana y jeje bueno el resto ya lo sabes ,* se va al refugio *

Safe to say that amongst the Sonic Flash Trilogy: Final Fantasy Sonic X SMBZ Sonic RPG Only Sonic RPG gets to see it's ending. FFSX is virtually abandoned since the guy making it is super busy now with irl. and SMBZ, I don't know wtf was Alvin Earthworm thinking with Rebooting it, like ffs.

Imo rebooting isn't a bad idea, considering the series stopped more than 13 years(i think) and the animation is outdated, so Mark rebooted the series with a better animation and a better story writing, but since 1 year the chapter 2 has released and this year he just started the chapter 3, but also nothing more released about the chapter and he's active on twitter playing some games and posting some non-smbz stuff.
