Skiing straight down a 40 degree mountain in Jackson Hole

Skiing Twice is Nice on Cody peak, the snow was so perfect and smooth, i decided to just point it straight down the chute. Check out some other videos of the same couloir for reference, it's normally skied in a bunch of turns and often has rocks you have to ski through in the exit.

Decades ago, I went to a trail off KT22 at Squaw Valley (now is called Palisades). All I can remember is how steep it was and how I was going to make it down there without getting hurt or lose a ski. I have lots of respect for this skier's skills and bravery. Thanks for posting this video!

Well THIS Boomer skied virgin bowls in and around Jackson 40 years ago straight down on Skinny Skis. I even started and avalanche in Black Canyon but skied out of it. Those mountains are fantastic.

Harakiri has a steepness of 38 degrees at its steepest point (commonly advertised as 78%). So if this video is 40 degrees, it's a bit steeper than the steepest point of Harakiri

40 isnt too bad. I’ve done some that were so steep and with so many trees that I had little choice but to fall. I am far from a pro though, and probably should not have been on those double diamonds. LOL. Great run.
