Pretty insane to see just how far ahead Ian was in that downhill race. Thats a true pro 🔥

people at that level, even if they`re like the worst on the world cup or whatever, are so much better than the rest of us that it's almost hard to imagine.

Great video Nick! Couldn't help but notice Ian pulling away from ya there. First of all, great job skiing and good decision making. No shame in living to ski another day. Skiing at that speed is no joke. Secondly, being the bad influence we are, are you guys up for a rematch in 2024? We got lots of stuff for you to put on the bottom of your Gilson's there to help you take down Ian. Pretty sure you can smoke him with either our Black Ice or our Teton Glass Elite Racing Series. Based on our beginner run test results from last year, I'm sure we can have you in the 70-80+ MPH range on Blue Squares. We'll be testing this ourselves on Blue Squares here soon as we get some more snowpack in 2024. Spring came too soon last year. Check us out sometime.

I have personally skiied at 65 miles/hour (or 105 Km/hour for non american wimps) and it was very bumpy, as soon as you cross the 50 mile an hour barrier it starts to feel really windy and you cant hear anything else anymore. any turn you make is a mojor leg workout>

A lot of places have indoor halls with 1 piste where you can learn and try out. Check what's available nearby you. They usually have skis for rent and classes available. There is also brush pistes that don't need snow but in my experience it's a bit different and you're better of with indoor halls. After you get the hang of it, going to a real mountain is magical. It can be pricey but it's 100% worth it. It's unlike anything else I've done in life
