*"Potato skill does not really affect your flying speed"* While, yes, you don't fly any faster from having the skill active, your momentum is preserved. You can use a ground-dodge while the skill is active to dodge much faster, and if you hook any surface while in the speed boost provided by the dodge, you WILL have a much quicker acceleration than if you just jumped or were just walking. Potato is by no means an useless skill just because it only directly affects your ground speed, and it certainly is more relevant in Blade PvP *"Dance and Distract are super useless"* They are useless in single-player, yes, but that's because they're not skills for this gamemode. They're support skills specifically for leading stunning titans/leading titans away from other players, which in expeditions or Outside The Walls mission, can be quite helpful. I myself was once saved by a player using the Distract skill when I ran out of gas by shooting a TS way too close to me, that time window where the Titan aggro'd them allowed me to refill gas. As for the Dance skill, it isn't as useful as Distract, but it can accomplish the same thing, kind of. I do get why players would prefer other specials over those two, though *"Smell is pretty bad pretty much"* Smell really is one of the least useful specials out there unless you're playing without mini-map or in realism mode (which removes mini-maps). Still, it can be useful at night, even if you do have the mini-map as it shows you the outline of the titans, letting out maneuver around them easily *"Smokebomb is another special that really sucks"* If you do hit the eye, you'll blind the titan, leaving it stunned for enough time to kill it. Given that this skill allows you to blind titans at long-range, it is a pretty useful special, specially for AHSS, APG and Thunder Spears *"Switchback lets you propel yourself while hitting the ground"* Since you didn't show or mention that, its also important to point out that you can also switchback off of walls while preserving all your momentum if you use it at the right time. Switchback also prevents you from dying from colliding at high speed if playing on realism mode - pretty essential skill in that mode *"Downstrike everyone, never use it"* Not exactly the easiest special to use, specially if the titans are moving, however, if you stun the titan in any way, either by blinding or crippling it, you'll have more than enough time to shoot yourself up and land on its nape with the Downstrike. My highest Blade damage, 2980, was achieved like this. Now, I get that this special is not as viable as Spin1/3 or Blade Throw given that you need to set it up, but its by no means useless because of that. Specially since you now fully preserve your momentum while using it, and can be used to gather a lot of speed I kind of believe this video is just meant to be funny and not taken seriously after the Petra bit, but still, leaving this here to help other players figure out other ways to use certain specials

Smokescreen is best used as a support for long-distance saves if you think you cant save a grabbed player in time. The same goes for blade throwing. Petra skill and Levi Spin 1 is not entirely useless. They can still be done with spiral for a much longer duration, and I guess a bigger hitbox. It's a matter of preference honestly. I find these skills to be useful not as killing skills, but for supporting skills kinda like the supply one.

I run dance, it’s pretty useful for big crowds and being able to use it while flying is nice too

switchback can make you bounce off a wall as well

The topic of throwing swords is not disclosed at all. You're throwing them wrong, try moving next time. As I understand it, their speed is vector-summed with yours. That is, when flying at a speed of 2-3 k and throwing blades directly along the movement, your speed will be transmitted to them, in addition to + 800 from the throw itself. If you are able to maintain a constant speed above 1k, congratulations, for you sword throwing is a new meta in pvp and fighting pt, crawlers and all other living things.
