Great to see James back & loving the banter in this episode. Sorry to sound like a broken record but the pencil Dan is using is not a Tracer but a Pica Big Dry. I tried the Tracer & it was terrible as it fell apart within three weeks & the company ignored my emails, the Pica is rock solid & well worth the extra money.

The new 18v makita saw is my favourite as well as the 36v track saw ,makes work just that little bit easier and precise ,maybe a bit too precise for house bashing but hey ho . Just finished my low level flat roof with lantern ,I found out that the grp system is definitley a 2 man job and my neighbour rescued me half way through, to save the day. I do enjoy your channel ,keep it up.

For example on one job I've got, I can't get anyone to come in a fit a boiler under CIS as they all say they don't do work under CIS?? Is there a legitimate way around it?? Podcast material maybe? Just curious…. What if the gutter decides to leak or get blocked in the future? How can it be repaired / cleaned with out taking the front of the house off???

It's very wide so should be easy to clean out if it gets blocked with leaves etc, and could likely be done from a good step ladder with a yard brush and a hosepipe. Fibreglass (or Glass reinforced plastic - GRP) is quite tough and strong, with the liquid plastic getting into all the nooks and crannies. If it does fail and/or leak then spot-repairs on fibreglass are also reasonably easy I think, by simply cleaning the area and adding more resin, or cutting out the bad patch and mating in a new patch. If the fibreglass is done well in the first place it should be ok I think, but I am not an expert on it. 🙂
